Remaining faithful to its vintage proportions while incorporating the brand’s latest movement technology, it continues to serve as one of Zenith’s flagship chronographs. For 2026, the Manufacture introduces the Chronomaster Original Paris Edition, a 50-piece limited edition inspired by the iconic verdigris copper rooftops that define the French capital’s skyline. Exclusive to the French market, the watch pairs a striking green gradient dial with the high-frequency El Primero 3600 movement and debuts Zenith’s new Zenclasp micro-adjustable bracelet clasp.
The Zenith Chronomaster Original Paris Edition is housed in a stainless-steel case measuring 38mm in diameter and 12.9mm in thickness. Faithful to the proportions of the original 1969 A386, the case features a harmonious combination of brushed and polished finishes that accentuate its vintage-inspired architecture. Compact yet sporty, the elegantly tapered lugs and balanced dimensions ensure exceptional comfort on the wrist while preserving the unmistakable character of one of Zenith’s most iconic chronographs.
Turning the watch over reveals a sapphire crystal caseback showcasing the in-house El Primero 3600 movement. In addition to providing a view of the high-frequency chronograph calibre and its openworked star-shaped rotor, the exhibition caseback is engraved with “ÉDITION PARIS” and individually numbered, highlighting the exclusivity of this 50-piece French-market limited edition.
The signed crown is flanked by classic pump-style chronograph pushers that retain the authentic appearance of the original A386 while providing intuitive operation of the chronograph functions. Protecting the dial is a box-shaped sapphire crystal that reinforces the watch’s vintage aesthetic while offering modern scratch resistance and clarity. Water-resistance can reach up to 50 meters (164 feet).
The defining feature of the Paris Edition is its gradient verdigris dial, inspired by the weathered copper rooftops and domes that have become synonymous with the architecture of Paris. The rich green tone transitions from a darker outer edge to a lighter center, creating impressive depth while giving the watch a unique identity within the Chronomaster collection.
Matching tone-on-tone chronograph counters blend seamlessly into the dial, allowing the verdigris finish to remain the visual centerpiece. Rhodium-plated faceted hour markers and hands provide excellent contrast, while the classic overlapping chronograph register layout preserves the unmistakable design language inherited from the original A386.
All hands and markers are filled with Super-LumiNova C1 for enhanced low-light visibility, while a discreet date aperture positioned at 4:30 maintains the balanced proportions of the dial without distracting from its elegant appearance.
Zenith Chronomaster Original Paris Edition
The “Zenith Chronomaster Original Paris Edition” (Ref#: 03.3207.3600/75.M3230) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, El Primero 3600 with 35 jewels and 36,000 vibrations per hour (5Hz). Featuring an integrated chronograph architecture with a column wheel and horizontal coupling, it comes equipped with hours, minutes, small seconds, date, and chronograph functions, including Zenith’s signature 1/10th of a second central chronograph hand that completes one full rotation every 10 seconds. Power reserve can last up to 60 hours, when fully wound.
Mounted on this watch is a stainless-steel bracelet secured by Zenith’s new Zenclasp folding clasp with integrated micro-adjustment, allowing quick sizing adjustments in 2.5mm increments for enhanced everyday comfort. Ceramic ball components ensure smooth and secure operation, while an additional black nubuck leather strap with a triple-folding clasp is included, offering a sportier and more casual alternative to the steel bracelet.
