Oris Divers Sixty-Five LE Chronos
A new limited edition version of the “Divers Sixty-Five” has been crafted by Oris, in collaboration with Chronos magazine. This bi-monthly print magazine is dedicated to watches and has been in circulation since 1992. Although it gets released as “Chronos” in Germany, China, Japan, Korea, and Poland, along with local content. In the USA this magazine began circulating in 1999 and is known as “Watchtime”.
The 38mm multi-piece case is made of stainless-steel with a vertical brushed finish, while mounted to the case is a steel unidirectional rotatable bezel featuring a 60-minute scale.On the flip-side is a sapphire exhibition caseback that allows a view into the inner workings of the mechanical movement. It showcases some jewels, gold gears, and an openworked steel rotor engraved with the Oris shield logo.The unique limited edition number has also been engraved on each edition.It comes equipped with a knurled screw-in security setting crown, embossed with the Oris logo. Topped by a domed sapphire crystal on both sides with an anti-reflective treatment on its underside. Water-resistance on this watch can reach up to 100 meters (330 feet).Time is exhibited on a gradient light blue dial with steel applied hour index markers; while circling around the periphery is a ring of white printed small seconds/minutes markings, with slightly larger markers for each five-minute increment.The hour index markers are composed with a mix of round and rectangular designs, while at 12 o’clock it’s shaped as a shield emblem. The central sword-shaped hands and hour index markers have all been fitted with a luminescent coating, for an enhanced legibility.

The “Oris Divers Sixty-Five LE Chronos“ (Ref#: 01 400 7774 4015) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 400 with 21 jewels and 28,800 vph. Power reserve can last up to 120 hours (5 days), when fully wound.Mounted to the watch is an integrated steel three-link bracelet, secured by a folding clasp. It also includes an additional brown leather strap and strap-changing tool, in a special presentation box. This is a limited edition of only 200 manufactured pieces and has a 10-year warranty period.
