Zenith Pilot Automatic and Pilot Big Date Flyback Boutique Editions
After introducing the latest iteration of its Pilot Collection in 2023, Zenith has now unveiled the inaugural Boutique Editions of the Pilot Automatic and Pilot Big Date Flyback models. These editions feature a rich blue hue reminiscent of the night sky and will be sold exclusively at the official Zenith boutiques.The Automatic model comes in a 40mm stainless steel case, characterized by a broad, flat bezel with vertical brushing that contrasts with polished chamfers.The specifications of the newly released boutique-exclusive Pilot lineup mirror those of the collection introduced the previous year. It also includes an oversized crown featuring the Zenith star. 
While this blue dial is a new addition to the boutique edition, it retains the horizontal grooves introduced in the previous year's pilot model, designed to evoke the appearance of corrugated metal sheets used in the fuselage of vintage aircraft. 
Time is exhibited with Arabic numerals in a stencil style font, while circling around is a white minute tracker. Positioned at 6 o'clock, a date window sits below a horizontal line, reminiscent of the artificial horizon instrument found in airplanes
The Big Date Flyback model comes in a larger diameter of 42.5mm and shares the distinctive horizontally grooved blue dial. Time is exhibited with the same stencil-style Arabic numerals, some of which are slightly cut-out to give room to two sub-dials: a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a small seconds at the 9 o’clock position.
It is powered by the automatic El Primero 3652 caliber, known for rapidly advancing and stabilizing the big date wheels in under 0.03 seconds. Additionally, its chronograph function is a flyback, enabling quick reset to zero and restart with a single button press. Originally designed for recording consecutive times without the need to stop and restart, this feature adds practicality to its functionality.
It comes equipped with a knurled screw-down crown emblazoned by the Zenith’s iconic star emblem, plus two rectangular pushers to operate the chronograph functions. Water-resistance on both models can reach up to 100 meters (330 feet).
Zenith Pilot Automatic
The “Zenith Pilot Automatic” (Ref#: 03.4000.3620/51.I003) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber El Primero 3620 with 26 jewels and 36,000 vph. This is basically the non-chronograph version of the El Primero 3600 and features a silicon escape wheel and lever. Power reserve can last up to 60 hours, when fully wound.
Zenith Pilot Big Date Flyback Boutique Edition
The “Zenith Pilot Big Date Flyback Boutique Edition” (Ref#: 03.4000.3652/51.I003) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber El Primero 3652 with 35 jewels, 303 components, and 36,000 VpH.
