The 42mm octagonal stainless steel case is meticulously crafted, featuring a contemporary design that pays homage to Zenith’s heritage. The 12-sided dodecagonal bezel is faceted and polished, highlighting the watch’s angular architecture and enhancing its sporty elegance. The combination of brushed and polished finishes accentuates the sharp lines and robust build, making the case both striking and durable.
On the reverse side is a mostly solid sapphire crystal caseback engraved with technical details. It also features a round sapphire aperture that reveals parts of the mechanical movement and the Zenith star logo. The outer stainless steel portion has been engraved with the “DEFY” inscription.
It comes equipped with a screw-down crown positioned between two rectangular push buttons that operate the chronograph functions. All topped by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Water-resistance can reach up to 100 meters (328 feet).
The dial showcases a sunray-brushed slate gray finish, providing a handsome and dynamic backdrop for the golden accents. It comes equipped with a high-frequency chronograph function capable of capturing 1/10th of a second readings, silicon escape wheel and lever for enhanced durability and precision, and a stop-seconds mechanism. Power reserve can last up to 60 hours, when fully wound.
Mounted on the watch is a stainless steel bracelet with a brushed and polished finish, secured to the wrist by an integrated quick-change mechanism. Additionally, a star-patterned black rubber strap is provided, offering a sportier alternative and versatile styling options.
