Vacheron Constantin unveils the Métiers d’Art “Tribute to The Celestial” Collection, a limited series of twelve watches that celebrate the twelve zodiac signs through exquisite craftsmanship and astronomical inspiration. Marking the brand’s 270th anniversary, each reference pairs a one-minute tourbillon with hand-guilloché dials in 5N gold, enhanced by brilliant-cut diamonds and a rich celestial blue palette. Set within sapphire-adorned white gold cases, these watches reflect the maison’s mastery of both technical watchmaking and decorative artistry.
These models are all housed in an 18k white gold case measuring 39mm in diameter and 10.7mm in thickness. It features fully polished surfaces that elevate its refined, artistic character. Embracing the collection’s celestial theme, the bezel, lugs, and crown are set with 96 baguette-cut sapphires totaling approximately 3.87 carats, lending a radiant contrast to the deep blue tones of the dial.
Turning the watch over reveals a sapphire exhibition caseback offering a clear view of the finely decorated calibre 2160. The movement’s architecture is opened up by a peripheral rotor, which allows a complete and unobstructed look at the tourbillon mechanism and the hand-applied Côtes de Genève finishing on the bridges.
It comes equipped with a white gold crown set with baguette-cut sapphires, echoing the gem-setting along the lugs and bezel for a fully integrated aesthetic. The sculpted lugs are slim and elegantly curved to ensure a balanced fit on the wrist despite the intricate detailing. A domed sapphire crystal safeguards the front, while a second sapphire crystal reveals the movement through the caseback. Water-resistance can reach up to 30 meters (98 feet).
Crafted from a 5N gold base and finished in a rich celestial blue, each dial in the Métiers d’Art “Tribute to The Celestial” Collection features a distinctive hand-guilloché motif representing one of the twelve zodiac signs. The intricate guillochage departs from traditional patterns and instead renders figurative designs, with each symbol formed by a dense array of micro-engraved triangles and linework. A sunray-brushed finish adds dynamic texture beneath changing light conditions.
Each dial includes its corresponding constellation, with the principal stars rendered using brilliant-cut diamonds that catch light across the darkened sky. Four signs associated with human figures: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Aquarius, also incorporate opaline detailing, adding depth and softness to their portrayals. 
A polished white gold Maltese Cross is applied below 12 o’clock, subtly reinforcing the Vacheron Constantin identity without overpowering the composition.
Surrounding the artwork is a finely printed railway minute track, anchored by white gold applied hour markers with a grooved texture and polished facets. 
Time is displayed via white gold, bi-faceted sword-shaped hands, which provide sharp contrast and legibility without distracting from the dial’s artistry.

The tourbillon features a Maltese cross-shaped cage, secured by a hand-polished bridge and fully visible through the sapphire caseback thanks to the peripheral rotor architecture. Certified with the Hallmark of Geneva, the movement showcases meticulous hand-finishing, including chamfered edges, circular graining, and Côtes de Genève stripes. Power reserve can last up to 80 hours when fully wound.
Mounted on this watch is a dark blue alligator leather strap with matching alligator leather lining, secured by an 18k white gold folding clasp set with 16 baguette-cut sapphires. The refined proportions of the 39mm case and the gently curved lugs offer a comfortable and elegant fit, ideal for formal occasions or daily wear.
