Ulysse Nardin has long been synonymous with the sea, from its origins as a maker of precision marine chronometers to its current nautical-inspired collection, which includes classic references like the Marine Torpilleur and contemporary, high-performance Divers. The compact 39mm Diver model returns with a stunning mottled neon blue and green stone dial, embodying the brand’s rich maritime heritage.
The 39mm case, with a thickness of 11mm, is made of stainless steel and features a combination of brushed and polished finishings. In line with the Diver collection’s commitment to sustainability, 80% of the steel used for the case is recycled. This large and commanding presence on the wrist is offset by the lightweight nature of the material.
On the flipside is a sealed caseback, decorated with an engraving of a wind rose. This solid caseback ensures the protection of the in-house automatic movement UN-816 within.
It comes equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel with a 60-minute scale, sparkling with the light of 40 brilliant-cut diamonds. All topped by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating that ensures clear visibility of the dial under various lighting conditions. Water-resistance can reach up to 300 meters (1000 feet).
Time is exhibited on a chrysocolla stone dial, meticulously cut by hand, presenting unique swirls of blue, turquoise, and green, along with speckles of coppery brown, evoking the ever-changing colors of the sea. 
Each dial is unique due to the distinct patterning of the stone.
The dial is set with 11 brilliant-cut diamond hour markers, enhancing its luxurious appeal. The central hour, minute, and seconds hands are designed with precision, featuring a luminescent treatment for enhanced legibility in low-light conditions.
In line with its practical functionality, the dial includes a round date aperture carved into the stone at the 6 o’clock position. The applied marker at noon also features luminescent material, providing clarity and ease of reading.
Ulysse Nardin Diver Atoll
The “Ulysse Nardin Diver Atoll” (Ref#: 8163-182B1LE-9A-ATOLL/3A) is powered by the in-house automatic movement, caliber UN-816 with 25 jewels and 28,800 vph. It comes equipped with a silicon balance spring and a double barrel system. Power reserve can last up to 60 hours, when fully wound.
Mounted on the watch is a white rubber strap that enhances the watch’s sporty and nautical appeal. For the same price an additional option of a pearly white alligator strap is also available, offering a more luxurious and elegant look. Both straps are designed for comfort and durability, secured by a stainless steel pin buckle. This is a limited edition of only 100 manufactured pieces.
