Tudor Black Bay Ceramic Blue
Tudor has made a significant splash in the world of Formula 1 this year by partnering with Team Visa Cash App RB, previously known as Alpha Tauri. As part of this exciting new venture, Tudor introduced a special edition watch, the Black Bay Ceramic Blue, which was initially showcased exclusively within the team. The case thickness is 14.4mm, and it extends to 50mm from lug-to-lug, providing a substantial but manageable presence on the wrist. On the flipside we uncover an open caseback crafted from black-PVD-treated steel, showcasing the inner workings through a sapphire crystal. This bezel enhances the watch’s utility for timing dives or other events. Water-resistance can reach up to 200 meters (approximately 656 feet), making it suitable for both professional diving and everyday wear.Time is exhibited on a domed blue dial, reflecting the vibrant team colors of RB (Red Bull Racing). This intense blue ensures the Tudor Black Bay Ceramic Blue is immediately noticeable, whether across a room or an F1 paddock. The design remains true to Tudor's functional elegance, with the dial featuring applied markers and hands coated in luminous material for excellent low-light visibility. The simplicity of the layout, including the traditional three-hand configuration, ensures straightforward time-reading under any circumstances. In keeping with its sporting and diving heritage, the dial is also practical. It comes equipped with Tudor’s distinctive angular "snowflake hands”. This fusion of aesthetic appeal and practical functionality aligns seamlessly with both everyday wear and sportier occasions.
