As part of its LVMH Watch Week 2025 lineup, TAG Heuer expands its Carrera Date 36mm collection with two new pastel-colored models, bringing fresh and elegant dials to the series. These latest additions continue the refined aesthetic of the Carrera Date, which was reintroduced in 2023 with a more compact, vintage-inspired design. Featuring soft powdery pink and purple, lilac dial options, accented with diamond-set hour markers, these timepieces exude a delicate yet modern appeal. While the updates focus primarily on aesthetics, they further diversify the Carrera Date lineup, offering a subtle, feminine take on the iconic model.
The 36mm stainless steel case of the Carrera Date follows the clean, elegant lines of the modern Glassbox Carrera collection. It measures 10.26mm in thickness and features a polished fixed bezel with a mix of brushed and polished surfaces. 

The lug-to-lug measurement of 41.60mm ensures a comfortable fit on a variety of wrist sizes, while the slim profile enhances its refined aesthetic.Turning the watch over, the transparent sapphire caseback reveals the Caliber 7 automatic movement inside, allowing a view of its decorated rotor and components. This exhibition-style back adds a mechanical charm to the piece while maintaining a classic elegance.It comes equipped with a discreet, knurled setting-crown. All topped by a domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating. Water-resistance can reach up to 50 meters (165 feet), making it suitable for daily wear and light water exposure, though not intended for serious aquatic activities.
The new TAG Heuer Carrera Date models feature pastel-colored dials, bringing a fresh and modern aesthetic to the collection. Available in powdery pink with a sunray-brushed finish or purple with a snail-brushed texture, these dials add depth and subtle sophistication to the design. The layout remains classic, ensuring easy legibility with applied rhodium-plated markers that seamlessly blend into their soft-colored backgrounds.Each dial is adorned with 11 diamond hour markers, providing a refined sparkle while maintaining the understated elegance of the Carrera line. The date window at 6 o’clock, framed neatly, ensures symmetry and practicality. A 60-minute/seconds scale is placed on the inner flange, adding precision to the dial’s layout without overwhelming its minimalist design. The TAG Heuer shield logo, finished in rhodium plating, is applied below 12 o’clock, subtly harmonizing with the overall color scheme.Completing the dial, the rhodium-plated hour and minute hands are faceted and polished, adding contrast against the pastel backgrounds. The second hand is slim and refined, sweeping smoothly across the dial. For enhanced nighttime visibility, Super-LumiNova is applied to the hands and small lume plots between the hour markers, ensuring readability in low-light conditions.

TAG Heuer Carrera Date

The new “TAG Heuer Carrera Date” models (References below) are powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, Caliber 7 automatic movement with 25 jewels and a 28,800 Vph. This movement is an upgraded version of the previous Caliber 5, now offering a higher power reserve of 56 hours when fully wound. It comes equipped with a bi-directional winding system, ensuring efficient energy transmission and smooth operation. While based on the Sellita SW300-1, it has been modified to TAG Heuer’s specifications, delivering improved performance.
Mounted on the watch is a polished stainless steel bracelet, featuring H-shaped links for a refined yet comfortable fit, while secured by a folding clasp with double safety push-buttons. It also comes with an adjustable system for minor size modifications, enhancing practicality.
