TAG Heuer reunites with Team Ikuzawa and Bamford Watch Department for a second collaborative timepiece, introducing the Carrera Chronograph x Team Ikuzawa. This new limited edition is based on the acclaimed 39mm Carrera Glassbox Chronograph and pays tribute to Team Ikuzawa’s iconic Roadmaster stopwatches from the 1970s and 1980s.

Combining modern chronograph technology with Japanese motorsport heritage, the watch blends vintage-inspired design cues with one of TAG Heuer’s most refined contemporary platforms.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Team Ikuzawa features a brushed and polished stainless-steel case measuring 39mm in diameter, 13.9mm thick, and 46mm from lug to lug. Like the standard Carrera Glassbox introduced in 2023, the case is topped by a beautifully domed “Glassbox” sapphire crystal that flows seamlessly over the sloping flange, eliminating the need for a traditional bezel while enhancing the watch’s vintage-inspired profile.

Turning the watch over reveals a sapphire crystal exhibition caseback engraved with the Team Ikuzawa and Bamford Watch Department logos, along with each watch’s individual limited-edition number. The transparent caseback also offers a view of TAG Heuer’s latest in-house chronograph movement.

The screw-down crown is distinguished by a red lacquered ring and is flanked by vintage-style chronograph pushers that reinforce the racing-inspired aesthetic.

A domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating protects the dial while maintaining excellent legibility from multiple viewing angles. Water resistance can reach up to 100 meters (330 feet).

The white Clou de Paris textured dial draws inspiration from Team Ikuzawa’s historic Roadmaster timing instruments and the team’s distinctive red-and-white racing colors. Unlike the standard Carrera Glassbox, the applied hour markers have been replaced by printed indices, giving the watch the appearance of a classic motorsport stopwatch.

Bright red accents appear throughout the display, including the TAG Heuer and Team Ikuzawa logos, the lacquered central chronograph seconds hand, the hour and minute hands, and even the angled date wheel, where every numeral is printed in the team’s signature color. A black flange frames the dial and enhances overall contrast.

The bi-compax layout features a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock and a 12-hour counter at 9 o’clock, while the traditional running seconds display has been omitted to make room for the Team Ikuzawa signature above the angled date display at 6 o’clock. Rhodium-plated faceted hour and minute hands are filled with white Super-LumiNova to ensure excellent visibility in low-light conditions.
