TAG Heuer Aquaracer Naomi Osaka
Today is Valentine’s day so we’ll take a look at a ladies watch inspired by not only a remarkable woman, but a confirmed champion. We’re referring to the rising tennis legend Naomi Osaka, who became a TAG Heuer ambassador about a year ago and has been finally honored with her own signature timepiece. 
The new “TAG Heuer Aquaracer Naomi Osaka” is described as a bold sporty design made for everyday use. This is a limited edition with a wavy dial that looks quite practical in use, while the flashy diamonds enhance its exclusive nature.The 36mm case is made of stainless-steel with vertically brushed surfaces and some facets contrasting in a polished finish. 
Mounted to the case is a unidirectional turning black ceramic bezel with a 60-minute scale and includes a SLN dot at the 12 o’clock position
On the flip-side is a steel screwed caseback with a special engraving of the Naomi Osaka logo. The tennis star’s name and the unique number for each of these limited editions has also been engraved on the outer periphery.
It also comes equipped with a knurled screw-down crown at the 3 o’clock position. All topped by a sapphire crystal that assists with water-resistance reaching up to 300 meters (984 feet).
Time is exhibited on a light green lacquered dial with a mix of steel applied and diamond hour index markers, while circling around the flange is a black printed minute ring with squared lime green markers for every 5-minute increment.
This distinctive color scheme was chosen by the Naomi Osaka herself. It appears here in a wave pattern that oscillating in various shades of green that range from a soft jade-like tone to darker patches and lighter almost white waves. Fun fact is that the human eye can see more shades of green than any other color.
The steel central sword-shaped hands, the tip of the running seconds hands, the three steel applied hour index markers, plus the SLN dot on the bezel have all been fitted with a luminescent coating, for an enhanced legibility. TAG Heuer also mixed it up with blue and green Super-LumiNova. There is also a magnified date aperture at the 6 o’clock position.

The “TAG Heuer Aquaracer Naomi Osaka” (Ref#: WBP231E.EB0247) is powered by the self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 5, with 26 jewels and 28,800 vph. It is based on the ETA 2824-02 movement. Power reserve on this timepiece can last up to 38 hours, when fully wound. 
Mounted to the watch is a dark green rubber strap, secured by a steel folding clasp with double push-buttons that feature a fine adjustment system. It also includes an additional strap made of a 100% recycled fishing net fabric. 
This is a limited edition of only 250 manufactured pieces, which comes in a special packaging.
