As part of a new capsule collection, this 47mm chronograph combines advanced materials like DLC-coated titanium and ceramic with Panerai’s in-house flyback chronograph movement, offering a unique countdown function designed for military exercises. The large and robust 47mm case is crafted from DLC-coated titanium, offering both lightweight wearability and high durability. The titanium is treated with a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating, giving it a sleek, matte black finish that enhances its stealthy, military-inspired look. A standout feature of this model is its black ceramic bezel, which is both scratch-resistant and visually striking. The unidirectional rotating bezel is specifically designed for divers, allowing for precise measurement of elapsed time underwater.
On the flipside we encounter a caseback made from the same coated titanium. This commemorative detail not only reinforces the watch’s toughness and rugged appeal but also serves as a reminder of its special edition status within Panerai’s lineup. 
It comes equipped with two chronograph pushers, positioned on the left side of the case, emphasizes the watch’s functionality and symmetry, allowing easy operation while maintaining its robust design. The pushers are coated in rubber for a more secure grip, even in wet conditions. Plus the iconic crown protection with the locking gear lever that secures the setting-crown in place. Water-resistance can reach up to 500 meters (1,640 feet).
The dial is designed to reflect both its functional military roots and Panerai’s signature bold aesthetic. The gradient dial fades from anthracite in the center to black at the edges, giving it a distinctive, rugged look that complements its tactical design. The layout is clear and easy to read, featuring large sand-colored Super-LumiNova-filled hour markers and hands that glow brightly in low light, making it ideal for nighttime or underwater use.
In keeping with the utilitarian spirit of the watch, the dial includes two subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock. The subdial at 3 o’clock tracks the chronograph hours, while the one at 9 o’clock displays the running seconds. Additionally, there’s a unique “time to target” countdown function that Panerai has adapted from its regatta chronographs, specifically designed for military operations. This adds a dynamic, mission-ready capability, allowing users to set a countdown timer with each press of the pusher at 4 o’clock adding one minute.
The dial is further enhanced by the “NAVY SEALS” inscription at 6 o’clock, reinforcing its connection to the elite special operations unit. The combination of matte finishes, functional elements, and subtle yet strategic color use gives the PAM01521 a distinctly tactical appearance while maintaining Panerai’s renowned style.

The “Officine Panerai Submersible Chrono Navy SEALs Titanio”(Ref#: PAM1521) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber P.9100/R with 37 jewels, 328 parts, and 28,800 vph. Power reserve can last up to 72 hours (3 days), when fully wound.
Mounted on the watch is a robust bi-material strap, combining durable rubber and camo-patterned textile in the AOR1 design, secured to the wrist by a DLC-coated titanium pin buckle.
