Panerai introduces its latest addition to the Luminor collection, designed for those who prefer a distinct and practical timepiece with a rich heritage. Featuring a reversed destro layout, the watch positions its crown and small seconds sub-dial on the left side, catering to left-handed wearers or those who enjoy wearing their watch on the right wrist. With its bold stainless steel case, eight-day power reserve, and understated yet refined design, this new release underscores Panerai’s dedication to functional elegance and enduring craftsmanship.The case is crafted from robust stainless steel, measuring 44mm in diameter and 15.6mm in thickness. Its polished finish adds a refined aesthetic while maintaining the hallmark durability associated with the design. A raised, polished bezel enhances the sleek profile, while the signature crown-protecting device, positioned at 9 o’clock, underscores its destro configuration.Turning the watch over reveals a sapphire crystal caseback, showcasing the in-house P.5000 movement. A brushed-finish plate with polished chamfers partially conceals the mechanism, offering a blend of functionality and sophistication. The sapphire window provides a glimpse of the variable inertia balance and twin-barrel structure.It comes equipped with a screw-down crown for secure adjustment, which features the iconic  locking gear lever. The crown guard also adds further protection while complementing the watch’s rugged appeal. Water-resistance can reach up to 300 meters (1,000 feet).The dial features a striking black sandwich-style design, a hallmark of Panerai’s craftsmanship. The sandwich construction, with its two superimposed plates, gives the dial depth and character. The upper layer, cut to reveal numerals and baton indices, offers a bold and clean aesthetic that contrasts harmoniously with the matte black backdrop.Designed for a destro layout, the small seconds sub-dial is uniquely positioned at 3 o’clock, creating a subtle yet distinct visual balance on the dial. The “Officine Panerai Radiomir Otto Giorni” (Ref#: PAM01655) is powered by a in-house hand-wound mechanical movement, caliber P.5000 with 15½ lignes, 21 jewels, 146 components and 21,600 Vph. It comes equipped with two spring barrels with toothed rims in series. Power reserve can last up to 192-hours (8 days), when fully wound. Mounted to the watch is a light brown suede strap with exposed beige stitching, secured to the wrist by a steel pin buckle.
