Last year may have been dark times, but Oris released some very positive inducing colors. This collection was nicknamed “Cotton Candy” and these hue choices further stood out, due to their bronze enclosure. Now the collection has been expanded with yet an extra soothing, mellow look by swapping out the bracelets for Perlon straps.The 38mm multi-piece case is made of bronze with its natural grainy finish. This alloy has been very trendy in recent years, as more users find the patina developing aspect of bronze to be an endearing quality.Mounted to the case is a bronze unidirectional rotatable bezel with a bronze insert and 60-minute scale in relief. This approach offers a more cohesive and robust look, further enriched by the alloys own unique characteristics.On the flip-side is a stainless-steel screwed on case back, which contrasts nicely with the bronze surroundings. This choice is not just for aesthetics, since prolonged contact with bronze can provoke an allergic reaction. It comes equipped with a knurled screw-in security setting crown, embossed with the Oris logo. All topped by a wide domed sapphire crystal on both sides with an anti-reflective treatment on its underside. Water-resistance can reach up to 100 meters (330 feet).Time is exhibited on either a light blue, light green, or light pink dial with applied gold-colored hour index markers that have beige lume interiors; while circling around the periphery is a ring of white printed small seconds/minutes markings, with slightly larger markers for each five-minute increment.Many rushed to nickname these models “cotton candy” due to their vibrant, yet soft-toned color scheme. The hour index markers are composed with a mix of round and rectangular designs, while at 12 o’clock it’s shaped as a shield emblem.The central sword-shaped central ands and hour index markers have all been fitted with a luminescent coating, for an enhanced legibility.There is also a white date window with black numerals at the 6 o'clock position.

The “Oris Divers Sixty-Five Cotton Candy Bronze“ (References below) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 733 with 26 jewels and 28,800 vph. It is based on the original Sellita SW200-1 with specific Oris designed alterations.
