Oris celebrates six decades of its iconic Divers Sixty-Five collection with the release of the new Divers Sixty-Five 60th Anniversary Edition. This modern reinterpretation of the original 1965 model combines vintage-inspired aesthetics with contemporary craftsmanship, paying tribute to the watch that marked Oris’s entry into the world of dive watches. Featuring retro design cues like bold Arabic numerals, a heritage logo, and a clean, dateless dial, the 60th Anniversary Edition captures the spirit of mid-20th-century dive watches while delivering a timeless appeal for today’s enthusiasts.
The Oris Divers Sixty-Five 60th Anniversary Edition is housed in a stainless steel case, measuring 40mm in diameter and 12.8mm in thickness. With compact dimensions and a combination of brushed and polished surfaces, the case strikes a balance between vintage charm and modern refinement. Its size ensures versatility, making it suitable for a variety of wrist sizes while retaining the tool-watch aesthetic of the original 1965 model.
Turning to the caseback, the solid steel design is engraved with the Oris logo in its vintage style, reinforcing the watch’s homage to its mid-20th-century roots. This historical nod extends to the bi-directional rotating bezel, an uncommon feature for modern dive watches but faithful to the 1965 original. The polished black insert complements the retro design.
It comes equipped with a knurled screw-down crown embossed with the Oris logo. All topped with a domed sapphire crystal, the watch combines vintage-inspired styling with contemporary scratch resistance. Water-resistance can reach up to 100 meters (330 feet).
Time is exhibited on a black dial with retro-inspired detailing that pays homage to the original 1965 model. The standout feature is the stylized Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9, rendered in a chunky, vintage typography that adds a playful and charming character to the watch. These numerals, combined with slender baton markers, evoke the mid-20th-century design ethos while maintaining a balanced and uncluttered layout.
Further enhancing the vintage appeal, the Oris logo is presented in its original retro style, marking the first time this historical branding has been used on a modern Divers Sixty-Five. This design choice sets the 60th Anniversary Edition apart from previous iterations, including the 2015 version, which featured the contemporary logo. In keeping with its clean aesthetic, the dial omits a date window, ensuring symmetry and clarity across the display.
Lume-filled hands and markers, treated with Super-LumiNova, provide excellent legibility in low-light conditions. The creamy tone of the lume further accentuates the nostalgic character of the watch, seamlessly blending modern functionality with timeless style.

Mounted on the watch is a 3-link stainless steel bracelet, secured by a folding clasp. It also comes with an additional leather strap with a steel pin buckle for versatility.
