Oris has expanded its Divers Date collection with a new Olive Green edition, introducing a military-inspired dial color to its modern vintage diver. First redesigned in 2024, the Divers Date replaced the long-running Divers Sixty-Five with an updated case, improved specifications, and upgraded materials while preserving the design language of Oris’ original 1965 dive watch. The latest addition retains all of the collection’s technical improvements while offering a handsome olive green dial inspired by classic military equipment.

The Oris Divers Date Olive Green is housed in a stainless-steel case measuring 39mm in diameter, 12.1mm in thickness, and 46.5mm lug-to-lug. Compact and well-proportioned, the redesigned case features a thicker middle section and a slimmer caseback for improved ergonomics on the wrist. Completing the professional diving profile is a unidirectional rotating bezel fitted with a black ceramic insert, offering greater scratch resistance and durability than the aluminum bezels used on many previous Divers Sixty-Five models.

Turning the watch over reveals a mineral glass exhibition caseback showcasing the Oris Calibre 733 automatic movement. The transparent caseback allows the wearer to appreciate the movement while maintaining the robust construction expected from a modern dive watch.

The screw-down crown provides secure operation while enhancing the watch’s water-tight integrity. Protecting the dial is a double-domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating, delivering excellent clarity while reinforcing the collection’s vintage-inspired appearance. Water resistance can reach up to 200 meters (660 feet).
The standout feature of this latest release is its olive green dial, inspired by vintage military equipment and field gear. The subdued color gives the Divers Date a more utilitarian personality while preserving the clean, retro-inspired aesthetic introduced with the redesigned collection.

The familiar layout remains unchanged, featuring the collection-specific typography introduced in 2024 along with a date aperture positioned at 6 o’clock. The uncluttered display emphasizes legibility while maintaining the balanced proportions that define the Divers Date series.

Applied hour markers, broad central hands, and the signature lollipop seconds hand are all filled with Super-LumiNova, ensuring excellent visibility in low-light conditions. The combination of the olive green dial and luminous elements creates a distinctive military-inspired appearance without compromising functionality.
