Shortly after the fanfare of Watches & Wonders 2025 and the unveiling of Omega’s orange-accented Seamaster Diver 300M, the brand quietly introduced an opulent new take on its flagship diver. Crafted entirely from 18K Sedna™ gold, this edition pairs a grained Sedna bezel with a crisp white polished ceramic dial, keeping the beloved wave motif alive while offering a far more luxurious presence on the wrist. It’s a stealth release aimed squarely at collectors who want the full diving pedigree of the Diver 300M, wrapped in a warm, precious-metal case.
The 42mm case is crafted entirely from Omega’s proprietary 18K Sedna gold, offering a warm rose-gold tone with a mix of brushed and polished surfaces across its signature lyre-shaped lugs. A unidirectional rotating bezel in matching Sedna gold features a deeply grained texture with a 60-minute diving scale executed in positive relief, adding a tactile, refined feel. Proportions remain faithful to the Diver 300M lineage, with a thickness of 13.72 mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 49.93 mm, delivering both presence and wearability.
Turning the watch over reveals a screwed exhibition caseback fitted with sapphire crystal, granting a clear view of the Master Chronometer Calibre 8801. Around the periphery, the caseback ring is engraved with key specifications, while the transparent center showcases the solid-gold rotor and balance bridge, underscoring the luxury upgrade over steel-cased counterparts.
It comes equipped with a screw-in crown at 3 o’clock that ensures secure operation, further complemented by the helium escape valve positioned at 10 o’clock for professional-grade diving utility. All topped by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. Water-resistance can reach up to 300 meters (1,000 feet).
The polished white ceramic dial offers a crisp, refined backdrop that amplifies the warmth of the surrounding Sedna gold case. Omega’s signature laser-engraved wave motif adds subtle depth, catching light at different angles without overwhelming the composition. A matching white date disc at 6 o’clock maintains visual harmony and reinforces the clean, high-contrast design.
Skeletonized hands and applied indices in 18K Sedna gold provide a luxurious visual contrast against the white ceramic surface. No additional colored accents exist, reinforcing a monochromatic, rose-gold-centric aesthetic that feels both cohesive and refined.
Legibility is ensured through generous applications of Super-LumiNova on the hands and hour markers, allowing the dial to remain highly readable in low-light or underwater conditions. The luminous treatment’s warm glow complements the rose-gold accents, maintaining the watch’s cohesive aesthetic day or night.
