Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Paris 2024 Edition

Omega has been the official timekeeper for the Olympics, providing precise and reliable timing for every sport in the prestigious event since 1932. Now to commence the one year countdown towards the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris 2024, they’ve once again released a special edition watch to commemorate their 31st participation as Official Timekeeper. This new version of the classic Omega Seamaster Diver 300M has been designed to evoke the coveted medals all attending athletes will be striving to obtain. The 42mm case is made of stainless-steel with a combination of brushed surfaces and polished accents. It measures in at 50mm from lug-to-lug with a thickness of 13.7mm and includes a conical helium escape valve aligned at the 10 o’clock position. The overall Seamaster design has also retained its signature lyre-shaped lugs. Mounted to the case is a steel unidirectional rotating bezel, enhanced by an 18k Moonshine™ gold laser-structured diving scale in positive relief. Instead of the standard sapphire exhibition caseback, on the flip-side of this model is a commemorative stainless-steel caseback with an embossed Olympics logo and an 18k Moonshine gold medallion, polished against a laser cut background. It comes equipped with a screw-down crown, embossed with the Omega logo, while in-between a pair of subtle crown guards. All topped by a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. Water-resistance can reach up to 300 meters (984 feet).Time is exhibited on a white ceramic dial with a laser engraved wave pattern. It features white round dotted hour index markers, single rectangle markers for the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions and a double rectangle marker for the 12 o’clock spot. Alongside the inner flange of the dial are portions of a black printed railroad-type minute index markers, divided by single indices for every 5-minute increment.Keeping with the Olympics motif led Omega to design its iconic lollipop seconds hand with the Paris 2024 emblem in its midst. The facetted 18k Moonshine™ gold central hands, hour index markers, and a single dot on the bezel have all been fitted with a luminescent coating, for an enhanced legibility. There is also a white date window at the 6 o’clock position with black numerals in a special Paris 2024 typography font.
