Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Master Chronometer iN Green

The “Seamaster” is one of the most cherished diving watches in the Omega collection and has been in continuous production, since it was first introduced in 1948. Over the years it has been crafted with a wide variety of materials, different colors, styles, and complications. The collection even grew into 4 sub-collections: Aqua Terra, Diver 300M, Heritage, and Planet Ocean. But, this is the first time an Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Master Chronometer” gets a green dial. The 42mm case is made of stainless-steel with a combination of brushed surfaces and polished accents. It comes equipped with a screw-in setting crown, plus a conical helium escape valve aligned at the 10 o’clock position. The overall Seamaster design has also retained its signature lyre-shaped lugs.Mounted to the case is a steel unidirectional rotating bezel, enhanced by a green ceramic insert with white enamel diving scale. On the flip-side is a sapphire exhibition caseback that allows a view into the inner workings of the mechanical movement. It features a rhodium-plated rotor and bridges with Geneva waves in arabesque, plus exposed blackened screws. It comes equipped with a screw-down crown, embossed with the Omega logo, while in-between a pair of subtle crown guards. All topped by a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. Water-resistance can reach up to 300 meters (984 feet).Time is exhibited on a green ceramic (ZrO2) dial with a laser engraved wave pattern. It features white round dotted hour index markers, single rectangle markers for the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions and a double rectangle marker for the 12 o’clock spot. Alongside the inner flange of the dial are portions of white printed railroad-type minute index markers, divided by single markers for every 5-minute increment. The polished steel skeletonized central hands, hour index markers, and the pip portion of the lollipop seconds hand have all been fitted with a luminescent coating, for an enhanced legibility. There is also a date window at the 6 o’clock position.
