Omega celebrates James Bond Day with a new Seamaster Diver 300M collection continuing a relationship that began when the watch first appeared on the wrist of 007 in GoldenEye in 1995. Based on the no-date Seamaster Diver 300M introduced in 2024, the new James Bond edition combines a blue wave-pattern dial with a Grade 5 titanium bezel and a gun-barrel-inspired oscillating weight, and joins the permanent collection as a special, non-limited model. For collectors, Omega has also created a far more exclusive 77-piece two-watch set pairing a numbered version of the steel model with an elaborate Platinum-Gold execution featuring a solid white gold guilloché dial.
The steel Omega Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond measures 42mm in diameter, 14.23mm thick and 50mm from lug to lug, retaining the familiar lyre-shaped lugs, partially protected crown and conical helium escape valve of the collection. Its unidirectional bezel uses Grade 5 titanium with a laser-ablated diving scale rendered in positive relief against a matte background.

The Platinum-Gold version included exclusively in the collector set retains the 42mm diameter but measures slightly thicker at 14.29mm, with its case produced from Omega’s proprietary alloy composed of approximately 95% platinum and 5% gold. Its polished blue ceramic bezel features a diving scale executed in platinum.

The Naiad Lock caseback incorporates a sapphire crystal revealing the Master Chronometer caliber 8806 and its Bond-specific oscillating weight.

On the steel models, the rotor takes the form of the iconic James Bond gun-barrel motif with a rhodium-plated finish. The Platinum-Gold edition receives a more elaborate blue gun-barrel-inspired rotor incorporating its emblem in 18k Moonshine Gold.

The steel watch included in each collector set is further distinguished from the individually available model by an applied plate at 9 o’clock bearing the unique number of the corresponding set. The screw-down crown is partially protected by the case, while Omega’s characteristic conical helium escape valve is positioned at 10 o’clock. A box-shaped sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment protects the dial, while the Naiad Lock construction keeps the caseback correctly aligned. Water-resistance can reach up to 300 meters (984 feet).

The individually available steel James Bond edition (Ref. 210.30.42.20.03.004), as well as the numbered steel model included in the collector set (Ref. 210.30.42.20.03.005), features a blue aluminum dial decorated with laser-engraved waves, recalling the appearance of earlier Seamaster Professional 300M models associated with James Bond during the 1990s. A coat of arms replaces the conventional marker at 12 o’clock, while rhodium-plated and diamond-polished hour markers are paired with the familiar openworked Seamaster hands.

The Platinum-Gold model (Ref. 210.83.42.20.03.001) takes the Bond theme considerably further. Its dial is crafted from solid 18k white gold and decorated with a guilloché pattern inspired by the famous gun-barrel sequence associated with the films. A gradient blue PVD treatment emphasizes the engraved geometry, while the matching polished blue ceramic bezel and platinum diving scale distinguish it from the more utilitarian appearance of the steel editions.

The hour markers and openworked hands of the steel Bond models are generously filled with white Super-LumiNova. Most indications emit blue light in darkness, while the minute hand glows green to provide an immediate distinction when timing a dive.

The luminous treatment preserves the functional character of the Seamaster Diver 300M while the blue dial, wave pattern and Bond-specific details provide the visual connection to the franchise.
Omega Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond Collection
The “Omega Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond Collection” (References below) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 8806 with a frequency of 25,200 vph, or 3.5Hz. The no-date movement comes equipped with Omega’s Co-Axial escapement, a free-sprung balance with silicon balance spring and resistance to magnetic fields reaching 15,000 gauss. Certified by both COSC and METAS as a Master Chronometer, the movement receives a Bond-specific gun-barrel-inspired oscillating weight, executed in rhodium-plated form on the steel watches and with blue and 18k Moonshine Gold details on the Platinum-Gold model. Power reserve can last up to 55 hours, when fully wound.

Mounted on the steel James Bond watches are brushed stainless-steel mesh bracelets, continuing a style first introduced to Omega’s modern Bond watches with the titanium No Time to Die edition and subsequently adapted to steel. The Platinum-Gold watch included in the collector set is instead mounted on a shiny blue alligator leather strap secured by a matching Platinum-Gold pin buckle. The 77-piece set also includes an additional NATO strap and strap-changing tool.

The "Omega Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond" (Ref. 210.30.42.20.03.004) is a special, non-limited edition available from October 5 through Omega boutiques and online.
