Omega’s latest addition to the Seamaster Diver 300M collection brings a striking new aesthetic, blending the brand’s Bronze Gold alloy with a burgundy color scheme. First spotted on Daniel Craig’s wrist at the Governors Awards in late 2024, this new model quickly sparked speculation among watch enthusiasts. Now officially released, the Seamaster Diver 300M Bronze Gold and Burgundy refines the modern Seamaster design while drawing inspiration from vintage dive watches. Retaining the 42mm case size, domed sapphire crystal, and the dateless dial layout, it follows Omega’s recent trend of Seamaster releases that embrace simplicity and elegance. Available on either a black rubber strap or a full Bronze Gold mesh bracelet, this latest Seamaster pairs heritage-inspired materials with contemporary craftsmanship.

This new case in bronze gold and burgundy retains the familiar proportions of the Diver 300M series. Measuring 42mm in diameter, 13.8mm in thickness, and 49.7mm from lug to lug, it provides a strong yet wearable presence on the wrist. The case is crafted from Omega’s proprietary Bronze Gold, a unique alloy containing 37.5% gold along with copper, silver, gallium, and palladium. Designed to maintain its luster over time with minimal patina, this material sits between Moonshine Gold and Sedna Gold in hue, offering a warm, vintage-inspired aesthetic. The case features a fully brushed finish, complementing the satin-brushed Bronze Gold bezel, which is fitted with a burgundy anodized aluminum insert.At the rear, the watch features a screw-in display caseback, which is also made from Bronze Gold and fitted with a sapphire crystal window. Through this transparent caseback, the Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 is fully visible, showcasing its refined finishing, including Geneva waves in arabesque.On the right side of the case, the signature screw-down crown is embossed with the Omega logo and finished in brushed bronze gold. Positioned at 10 o’clock, the helium escape valve, another hallmark of the Seamaster Diver 300M, ensures the watch’s suitability for professional diving. Topping off the design, the domed sapphire crystal with an antireflective coating on both sides enhances legibility while adding a touch of vintage appeal. Water-resistance can reach 300 meters (1,000 feet).
The dial of the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Bronze Gold and burgundy takes a refined approach, forgoing the wave pattern seen on previous models. Instead, it features a sandblasted black aluminum surface, creating a subtle texture that enhances its legibility and depth. For added contrast and elegance, the Omega logo and text are printed in white, standing out clearly against the matte black dial. The burgundy anodized aluminum bezel insert complements the overall color scheme of the watch. The 60-minute diving scale is laser-engraved and filled with vintage-toned Super-LumiNova, while the lume-filled dot at the 12 o’clock position glows green, distinguishing it from the rest of the blue-glowing elements. The applied hour markers are crafted in brushed blackened material and are filled with vintage-colored Super-LumiNova, which glows blue in low-light conditions. The signature skeletonized hands, finished in Bronze Gold PVD, provide a warm contrast against the dark background, with the minute and hour hands also coated in luminous material for enhanced nighttime readability.

The “Omega Seamaster Diver 300M” (References below) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 8806 with 35 jewels and 25,200 vph. This is a METAS-certified movement capable of resisting magnetic fields ranging in 15,000 gauss and equipped with a quick-set and a free sprung-balance with a silicon balance spring. Power reserve can last up to 55 hours, when fully wound.
The watch comes with two strap options: a black double-ridged rubber strap for a sportier feel or a brushed Bronze Gold mesh bracelet for a more luxurious, vintage-inspired look.
