To commemorate its role as the Official Timekeeper for the 37th America’s Cup, Omega has introduced the Seamaster Diver 300M America’s Cup Special Edition.This timepiece, crafted in stainless steel, embodies the spirit of one of the world’s most prestigious sailing events. With features like a regatta scale on the bezel and a unique commemorative caseback, this edition not only celebrates Omega’s deep connection to the sport but also showcases the brand’s dedication to precision and innovation. Whether on the waves or on land, this Seamaster is a fitting tribute to the legendary America’s Cup.The robust 42 mm case with a height of 13.8 mm is made of high-grade stainless steel with a mix of brushed and polished accents. A blue ceramic unidirectional bezel surrounds the dial, incorporating a unique regatta scale designed specifically for the 37th America’s Cup, with clearly marked 5-minute countdown intervals and a regatta-inspired flag at the start position.
On the flip-side is a sapphire exhibition caseback that allows a view into the inner workings of the mechanical movement.
The caseback is also adorned with the America’s Cup logo, featuring the iconic “Auld Mug” and the letter “B” for Barcelona, a nod to the host city of the 2024 event. This commemorative element ties the timepiece to the prestigious sailing competition.
It comes equipped with a helium escape valve, strategically positioned at 10 o’clock. This conical-shaped valve can be operated underwater, thanks to Omega’s patented technology, ensuring the watch remains water-resistant up to 300 meters (1,000 feet), making it an ideal companion for professional divers and sailing enthusiasts alike.
Time is exhibited on a crisp white ceramic dial, meticulously laser-engraved with a wave pattern in positive relief. The dial is adorned with applied Arabic numerals and hour markers, along with a prominent minute track, all designed for optimal legibility.
A standout feature of this model is the bold red minute hand, which contrasts sharply against the white dial, making it easy to track elapsed time during regatta events. The central seconds chronograph hand is uniquely designed with an America’s Cup trophy-shaped counterweight, rendered in blue to match the regatta-themed elements of the watch. The blue ceramic bezel, featuring a detailed regatta scale, frames the dial, adding both functionality and a splash of color.
All hands and raised indexes on the dial are treated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring that the time can be easily read in low-light conditions. This luminescent material glows blue in the dark, maintaining the watch’s functionality and visibility in all environments.
Omega Seamaster Diver 300 America’s Cup
The “Omega Seamaster Diver 300 America’s Cup” (Ref#: 210.30.42.20.04.002) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 8806 with 35 jewels and 25,200 vph. This is a METAS-certified movement capable of resisting magnetic fields ranging in 15,000 gauss and equipped with a quick-set and a free sprung-balance with a silicon balance spring. Power reserve can last up to 55 hours, when fully wound.
Mounted on the watch is a stainless steel bracelet, secured to the wrist by a folding safety buckle. The bracelet features Omega’s patented Quick-Change system, allowing the wearer to easily swap it out for the included blue rubber strap, 
which offers a sportier and more casual alternative. Both options ensure a secure and comfortable fit on the wrist, whether you’re on land or at sea.
