Omega has quietly expanded its Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M collection with the Titanium Ultra-Light edition, spotted on the wrist of Olympic pole vaulter Armand Duplantis. Featuring a striking blue-and-yellow color scheme, this edition celebrates Duplantis’ Swedish heritage and his record-breaking achievements at the 2024 Paris Olympics. With its Gamma Titanium construction and featherweight design, this timepiece exemplifies Omega’s commitment to innovation and precision, perfectly suited for both athletic performance and daily wear.The 41mm case with a thickness of 13.5mm is crafted from Gamma Titanium, an alloy that is both harder and lighter than traditional Grade 5 Titanium. The case, bezel, caseback, and push-in crown all share this matte-finished material, contributing to the watch’s ultra-lightweight design. When paired with its nylon fabric strap, the entire timepiece weighs a mere 55 grams, making it exceptionally comfortable for everyday wear.
On the flipside we get a clear view of the titanium-crafted caliber 8982 Ti movement. This display caseback not only showcases the movement’s sandblasted finish but also emphasizes the meticulous attention to detail Omega has applied to this high-performance timepiece.
It comes equipped with a push-in crown made from the same Gamma Titanium as the case, ensuring both durability and a consistent aesthetic. The lugs, which seamlessly integrate with the strap, maintain the streamlined and functional design of the Aqua Terra collection. Water-resistance can last up to 150 meters (500 feet), making it suitable for various water activities.
Time is exhibited on a striking blue anodized titanium, featuring Omega’s signature horizontal grooves. This textured surface contrasts with blackened applied indices, each treated with Super-LumiNova for optimal legibility in low-light conditions. 
The dial’s minimalist aesthetic is punctuated by subtle yellow accents, including the ‘Seamaster’ script and the 15/30/45/60 markings on the minute scale, reflecting the colors of Armand Duplantis’ Swedish heritage. While an applied Omega logo at 12 o’clock completes the dial, serving as a hallmark of the brand’s commitment to precision and innovation. 
At the center of the dial, blackened hour and minute hands glide across the surface, their Super-LumiNova inserts glowing brightly in darkness. This Master Chronometer certified movement is crafted entirely from titanium, including the main plate and bridges, to maintain the watch’s ultra-lightweight profile. Power reserve can last up to 72 hours (3 days) when fully wound.
