This vintage-inspired piece is housed in a 44mm stainless-steel case with a matte sandblasted finish, treated with a black DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating. This modern surface treatment improves upon the original 1993 model’s PVD finish, offering increased hardness and better scratch resistance. The overall design remains consistent with Panerai’s historical Luminor proportions, including the distinctive cushion-shaped profile and pronounced lugs.Turning the watch over reveals a solid screw-down stainless steel caseback, engraved with the traditional “Officine Panerai Firenze” signature and the heritage OP logo.
