Applying this specific treatment technique on titanium material can substantially improve its robustness, while also allowing for more unique colorizations. Mounted to the case is a bezel matching the main case alloy and its finishing touches.On the flipside is a solid screw-on caseback made of the same gray DLC-coated steel. Its full center portion appears with a detailed engraving of a landmark Milanese scenery that features the Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.It comes equipped with the iconic extra reinforced Panerai crown guard featuring a detachable security lever, which has engraved “Milan” directly on the lever, for this limited edition. All topped by a domed sapphire crystal. Water-resistance can reach up to 300 meters (984 feet).Time is exhibited on a blue dial with long white hour index markers and the Arabic numerals: 6, 9, and 12. All these elements appear as cut-aways on Panerai’s iconic “sandwich” layered dial. Except for the upper-half “LUMINOR MARINA” and lower-half “PANERAI Automatic” inscriptions, which have been printed directly on the dial. It also a gradient effect that goes from a blue center to a black periphery.A small-seconds counter appears near the 9 o’clock position, which has kept the numeral present.The central blackened sword-shaped hands, the Arabic numerals, the hour indices markers, and sub-seconds hand have all been fitted with a white Super-LumiNova that actually glows green. There is also a date aperture at 3 o'clock position.

The “Officine Panerai Luminor Marina Milan Edition” (Ref#: PAM02319) is powered by the self-winding in-house mechanical movement, caliber P.9010 with 31 jewels, 13 3/4 lignes, 200 parts and 28,800 Vph. It comes equipped with a Glucydur® balance and Incabloc® anti-shock device. Power reserve can last up to 72 hours (3 days), when fully wound.Mounted on the watch is a blue fabric strap with tone-on-tone stitching, while secured to the wrist by a DLC trapezoidal pin buckle. The strap is made from recycled PET that consists of 68% reclaimed materials from post-consumer waste.
