Officine Panerai Luminor Guillaume Néry Edition
Panerai is in a festive mood as they celebrate the 70th anniversary of their “Luminor” collection. What began as a military diver watch has gone on to be some much more, while also becoming an iconic sports watch. To further mark this milestone occasion Panerai has once again partnered up with one of its ambassadors and World Champion free diver, Guillaume Néry. The 44mm case is made of a micro-sandblasted titanium, which was manufactured using a technology known as DMLS (Direct Metal Laster Sintering). This is a process of 3D printing that involves the sedimentation of titanium powder that is sintered layer by layer via a high-powered optical fiber laser. Mounted to the case is a fixed titanium bezel with a contrasting rubberized coating. 
Its solid DLC-coated titanium case back has been engraved with a silhouette of a diver, the ocean ceiling above him and a “70 YEARS” warranty logo. The signature of Guillaume Néry has also been etched on this flip-side, offering a proper homage to the inspiration behind this timepiece.
It also include the Luminor Marina style winding crown protection with the setting-crown nestled within, which also features a rubberized coating. All topped by a sapphire crystal that also assists with water-resistance reaching up to 300 meters (1,000 feet).
Time is exhibited on a black dégradé dial with rectangular hour index markers and the Arabic numerals: 6, 9 and 12. These elements are seen as cut-aways on Panerai’s iconic “sandwich” structured dial.
There is also a sub-seconds dial aligned with the 9 o’clock position and a small date aperture at the 3 o’clock spot. The blackened central hands, as well as the sub-seconds hand, hour index markers and Arabic numerals have all undergone a luminescent coating that emits a green glow, for an enhanced legibility.

The “Officine Panerai Luminor Guillaume Néry Edition” (Ref#: PAM01122) is powered by the self-winding mechanical movement, caliber P.9010 with 31 jewels, 13¾ lignes, 200 components and 28,800 vph. Power reserve on this watch can last up to 72 hours (3 days), when fully wound.
Mounted to the watch is a black recycle PET material with exposed white stitching, secured to the wrist by a trapezoidal pin buckle in titanium with DLC coating.
It also includes a white rubber technical strap featuring a luminescent “Officine Panerai” personalization, a screwdriver for quick strap removals, and a special recycle plastic box engraved with the signature of Guillaume Néry.
