Officine Panerai Luminor GMT Bucherer Blue
For those in a blue mood, or craving a different take on the classic Officine Panerai Luminor model, look no further for “Bucherer Blue” has got you covered. Panerai has a strong maritime heritage that has always been appropriately reflected by a blue hue, which this limited edition for the “Bucherer Blue” collection further highlights. It also comes with straps made from recycled PET bottles and ABS packaging, as an ethical stance towards sustainability.The 44mm case is made of black ceramic with a solid screw-on case back, which has been engraved with the inscription “BUCHERER BLUE”. It comes equipped with Panerai’s iconic crown guard. The crown has been given a blue rubberized wheel gear, as a unique variation signaling its special edition origins.
All topped by a sapphire crystal with a water-resistance that can reach up to 300 meters (984 feet). 
Time is exhibited on a black sandwich dial with white hour index markers and the Arabic numerals 6, 9 and 12. The white on black offer a bold contrast, but the sparse dashes of blue still manage to claim prominent attention. 
There is a date aperture located at the 3 o’clock position and a sub-seconds dial positioned near the 9 o’clock index marker with a blue hand. A second time-zone is pointed out via the blue-tip arrow shaped central hand, making this a GMT timepiece.
All the numerals, index markers, hands and date have undergone a luminescent coating, for an enhanced legibility. As lights go out this models blue luminescence shines thru, fully embracing its core "Bucherer Blue" theme.

The “Officine Panerai Luminor GMT Bucherer Blue” (Ref#: PAM01176) is powered by the self-winding in-house mechanical movement, caliber P.9010 with 31 jewels, 200 components and 28,800 vph. It comes equipped with a Glucydur balance, an incabloc anti-shock device and double balance bridge to reinforce its stability. Power reserve on this watch can last up to 72 hours (3 days), when fully wound
Mounted to the watch is a black textile ribbon strap with exposed blue stitchings, while secured to the wrist by a pin buckle. It also comes with an additional black rubber strap. As aforementioned both these straps have been made from recycled PET bottles and ABS packaging.
