One of the most iconic and recognizable models in the Jaeger-LeCoultre catalog, which can probably also be said for horology in general, is back. We’re talking about the one and only Reverso. In fact these are three new dial color options for the “Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds” model. Their partnership with the great Argentine boot-makers, Casa Fagliano continues with finely paired straps. Plus these releases showcase a reduced thickness of almost 1mm.The 27.4mm rectangular case is made of 18k pink gold with its iconic reversible portion that can be flipped to reveal a solid case back. This is a new ultra-thin chase which has reduced its height from 8.5mm to 7.56mm.Despite its apparent fragile and classy demeanor, which leads most horology enthusiasts to consider it a “dress watch”. In fact the Reverso was one of the first official “sports watches” ever created, having been designed to withstand possible impacts and collisions on the polo field.It comes equipped with a setting-crown that includes an embossed "JL" logo. All topped by a sapphire crystal that assists with water-resistance on this watch reaching up to 30 meters (96 feet).Time is exhibited on either a sunray-brushed black, burgundy, or silver dial with gold applied hour index markers, followed by smaller printed railroad-motif minute index markers that adhere and reinforce its rectangular shape. There is also a sub-seconds dial that spreads out, taking up much of the dials lower-half. While the upper-half of the dial includes the full “Jaeger-LeCoultre” logo, plus an embossed gold “JL” logo.All these index markers and the sub-seconds have been meticulously applied by hand. It also comes equipped with central 18k pink gold dauphine style hands. Overall this is the classic Reverso design with a slightly slimmer case.

The “Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds” (References Below) is powered by the hand-wound mechanical movement, caliber 822/2 with 19 jewels, 108 parts and 21,600 vph. Power reserve can last up to 42 hours, when fully wound. These watches come with two interchangeable Casa Fagliano straps, secured by an 18k pink gold pin buckle. The black and burgundy models include one strap in calfskin and canvas, while the second one is only made of calfskin.
