Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Memovox Timer iN Rose Gold
For whom the bells toll, may sound somber, unless those chimes are ringing from inside the new “Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Memovox Timer”. For over 70 years the Memovox has been one of the most famous and few alarm watches still on the market. Back in 2020 we saw JLC release a limited edition steel model with a beautiful blue dial, which included an extra timer function. Now they’re back with a more limited gold version of that same iteration with a darker color scheme.The 40mm case is made of 18k rose gold with polished surface and brushed caseband finish, 
while on the flip-side is a sapphire exhibition case back that allows a view of the inner workings of the mechanical movement.
In order to activate the alarm, you simply have to use the higher up of the two crowns on the right side of the case (near the 2 o’clock position) to set it.
The alarm will only work if its separate mainspring has been wound and the crown can serve to turn it on or off. When fully wound the alarm should sound for about 10 to 20 seconds before its repeating chime whimpers out.
It also comes equipped with the previously redesigned setting crowns that now provide a better grip. All topped by a sapphire crystal. Water-resistance on this watch can reach up to 50 meters (164 feet).
Time is exhibited on a two-tone gray and black sun-ray brushed finish dial with the applied Arabic numerals: 6, 9, 12 and dagger-style hour index markers. On the periphery of the dial is a contrasting light-gray indexed minute ring. 
Just like the previous blue dialed steel version (Ref#: Q410848J) this model also includes a new additional complication named “Timer”, seen as a central disc with engraved numerals. 
It enables the user to set the alarm base on the number of hours that should elapse before the alarm rings. All you need to do is adjust the red JL-tipped central hand with the central gray 12-hour counter.
The central gold hands and dotted hour index markers have all been fitted with a green luminescent filling, for an enhanced legibility.

The “Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Memovox Timer” (Ref#: Q410257J) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 956AA with 24 jewels, 271 parts and 28,800 vph. Power reserve on this watch can last up to 45 hours, when fully wound.
