IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Edition "Las Vegas"
Are you feeling lucky? Well if so why not give the new IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Edition “Las Vegas” a spin. This new limited edition release is a return to the 46 mm case variant, after we saw IWC introduce the slimmer 43 mm option earlier this year. Despite the Sin City theme this watch has a very restrained and elegant look. The only clear references to Las Vegas can be seen on the case back and roulette-colored date window.The round 46.2 mm case is made out of stainless-steel with a mix of brushed and polished finish. It’s been crafted with a soft-iron inner case for protection against magnetic fields.
On the flip-side is a solid case back engraved with a roulette wheel, which plays into the “Las Vegas” theme. IWC has also engraved the unique limited edition number for each of these collectible timepieces.
It comes equipped with the iconic big onion-style conical screw-in crown designed in the iconic IWC big diamond shape with a riveted circumference, providing a firm grip for quick-sets. 
All topped by a sapphire convex glass with an antireflective coating on both sides. The glass is secured against displacement by drop in air pressure. Water-resistance on this watch can reach up to 60 meters (196 feet).
Time is exhibited on a silver-plated dial with black Arabic numerals, followed by black-toned minute index markers and slightly thicker markers for every 5-minute increment, except for the 12 o’clock position that features IWC’s iconic triangle with two dots.
The 3 o’clock numeral is also missing and in its place is a 7-day power reserve sub-dial indicator that features a touch of color with a red-hand. While the 6 o’clock numeral has been omitted to allow for a black date aperture with Las Vegas roulette color themed numerals that starts off green then shifts back and forth between black and red.
The central propeller hands are white with a black outline. Both these hands, Arabic numerals and minute index markers have all undergone a luminescent coating, for an enhanced legibility.

The IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Edition “Las Vegas” (Ref#: IW501014) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 52100 with 31 jewels, 257 components, and 28,800 vph. It comes equipped IWC’s historic Pellaton automatic winding system, a central hacking seconds, plus winding system parts made from black or white ceramic. The movement is also decorated with a Côtes de Genève perlage finishing. Power reserve on this timepiece can last up to 168 hours (7 days), when fully wound.
Mounted to the watch is a black calfskin leather strap with contrasting white stitchings, secured by a steel folding clasp.
