Girard-Perregaux’s celebration of the Laureato’s 50th anniversary continues to resonate with the Laureato Three Gold Bridges, a remarkable interpretation that unites the brand’s iconic integrated-bracelet sports watch with one of its most historic movement architectures. Introduced as part of the anniversary year, the model showcases a newly developed tourbillon calibre built around Girard-Perregaux’s legendary three-bridge construction, an aesthetic and technical hallmark dating back to the 19th century. Presented in a 41mm stainless-steel case with an optional baguette-diamond bezel, the Girard-Perregaux Laureato Three Gold Bridges blends contemporary Laureato design with one of the most recognizable movement layouts in haute horlogerie.
The Laureato Three Gold Bridges is housed in a 41mm stainless-steel case that measures approximately 10.85mm thick in its standard configuration, or 11.25mm for the gem-set variant. The case follows the familiar Laureato design language with its sharply faceted surfaces, integrated bracelet, and signature octagonal bezel positioned above the circular case base. Alternating brushed and polished finishes highlight the architectural geometry of the case while reinforcing its modern sports-watch identity.

Through the sapphire crystal caseback, the new in-house movement architecture becomes fully visible. The openworked design reveals the three iconic white-gold bridges aligned across the dial side, while the caseback perspective offers a deeper view into the tourbillon mechanism, gear train, and micro-rotor system. The finishing is executed to haute horlogerie standards, with meticulous hand-polished bevels and carefully executed interior angles across the movement components.

The crown is positioned at 3 o’clock and operates the watch’s time-setting and winding functions through a single control system. A domed sapphire crystal protects the skeletonised dial, offering clear visibility of the movement’s intricate architecture. Water-resistance can reach up to 30 meters (100 feet).

The dial of the Laureato Three Gold Bridges is effectively the movement itself, presented through a fully skeletonised architecture that highlights the brand’s signature bridge layout. Three horizontally aligned white-gold bridges span the dial, each serving a functional role: the upper bridge supports the openworked barrel and micro-rotor, the central bridge secures the gear train, and the lower bridge frames the tourbillon regulator at 6 o’clock.

These bridges are finished with sharply faceted surfaces that echo the geometry of the Laureato’s octagonal bezel. Their polished edges and hand-finished angles demonstrate the brand’s commitment to traditional watchmaking craftsmanship. According to Girard-Perregaux, hundreds of inward angles and hand-polished bevels are required to complete the finishing of these bridges.

Despite the skeletonised construction, legibility remains surprisingly strong. Rhodium-toned hands and applied hour markers stand out against the open architecture, while the tourbillon cage doubles as the running seconds indicator. The hands and markers are treated with luminescent material, ensuring low-light readability while maintaining the watch’s refined monochromatic aesthetic.

The “Girard-Perregaux Laureato Three Gold Bridges” (References below) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber GP09620-2206 with 303 components, 28,800 vph. It comes equipped with a tourbillon regulator and platinum micro-rotor winding system. Power reserve can last up to 55 hours, when fully wound.

Mounted on this watch is a stainless-steel integrated bracelet secured by a butterfly clasp with an integrated micro-adjustment system offering approximately 4mm of toolless adjustment. The bracelet follows the Laureato’s distinctive H-link design, combining brushed surfaces with polished accents that echo the finishing of the case. On the wrist, the integrated construction ensures a balanced and comfortable fit while reinforcing the Laureato’s refined sports-watch character.
