Girard-Perregaux marks the beginning of its partnership with the Atlassian Williams F1 Team with a new Laureato Chronograph inspired by the team’s 2026 Formula 1 racing car. Following the manufacturer's previous involvement with Ferrari and Aston Martin, the new collaboration introduces the Laureato Chronograph Williams Edition, combining a 42mm case crafted from 904L stainless steel with a Williams blue Clous de Paris dial and contrasting red accents drawn from the FW48’s livery. Powered by the automatic caliber GP03300-2451, the chronograph brings a motorsport-inspired identity to one of Girard-Perregaux’s most recognizable sports watch designs.
The Girard-Perregaux Laureato Chronograph Williams Edition is housed in a 904L stainless-steel case measuring 42mm in diameter and 12.16mm thick. The distinctive octagonal bezel sits above the rounded case middle, retaining the architectural design introduced with the original Laureato in 1975. The use of 904L steel extends to the integrated bracelet, while the chronograph construction introduces additional controls without significantly altering the collection’s familiar profile.

A sapphire crystal caseback reveals the automatic caliber GP03300-2451 and incorporates a metallized Williams emblem commemorating the collaboration. The transparent construction provides a view of the chronograph movement, while the Williams insignia distinguishes this special edition from the standard Laureato Chronograph collection.

The crown is positioned between two screwed chronograph pushers, with protective elements integrated into the right side of the case. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, complemented by the sapphire display back. Water-resistance can reach up to 100 meters (328 feet).

The Laureato Chronograph Williams Edition features a Williams blue dial decorated with the collection’s signature embossed Clous de Paris pattern. Inspired by the livery of the Williams FW48 Formula 1 car, the dial combines its vivid blue surface with rhodium-plated hands, applied hour markers and chronograph counter surrounds. A discreet Williams “W” emblem appears at 12 o’clock, reinforcing the connection to the racing team.

The chronograph displays are arranged across the textured dial, with rhodium-plated accents providing contrast against the blue background. A red central chronograph seconds hand introduces a motorsport-inspired detail referencing the distinctive red keyline found on the Williams FW48, while the remaining indications maintain the familiar appearance of the Laureato Chronograph.

The embossed Clous de Paris surface creates depth across the dial, contrasting with the metallic finishing of the hands, applied markers and chronograph registers. The combination of blue, rhodium-plated elements and the restrained red accent gives the watch a distinctive identity while preserving the balanced appearance associated with the Laureato collection.

Girard-Perregaux Laureato Chronograph Williams Edition
The “Girard-Perregaux Laureato Chronograph Williams Edition” (Ref#: 81020-11-3681-1GM) is powered by the self-winding mechanical movement, caliber GP03300-2451 with 63 jewels, 419 components and a frequency of 28,800 vph, or 4Hz. The movement uses a modular chronograph architecture, combining the automatic mechanical base with a chronograph mechanism to provide elapsed-time measurements through the central chronograph seconds hand and accompanying counters. Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, the caliber continues Girard-Perregaux’s longstanding tradition of mechanical chronograph movements. Power reserve can last up to 46 hours, when fully wound.

Mounted on this watch is an integrated 904L stainless steel bracelet that follows the contours of the Laureato case, extending its distinctive geometric architecture onto the wrist. The bracelet is secured by a triple-folding clasp, providing a streamlined appearance that complements the watch’s combination of polished and brushed steel surfaces.
