To mark the dual milestone of Formula 1’s 75th anniversary and the Laureato’s 50th, Girard-Perregaux unveils a bold new take on its contemporary sports watch: the Laureato Absolute Aston Martin F1 Edition. Limited to just 88 pieces, this high-performance model channels the aesthetics of Aston Martin’s racing heritage with a deep green dial, lime accents, and a rugged titanium case. It’s a fitting tribute to both speed and precision, merging watchmaking finesse with the adrenaline of motorsport.
Crafted from lightweight, sandblasted titanium, the 44mm case of this sporty edition channels the bold, sculpted lines that define the Laureato Absolute sub-collection. Its matte surface plays with the light across the geometric bezel and sharply faceted lugs, while the overall thickness of 14.65mm maintains the robust profile expected from a high-performance luxury sports watch.
Turning the watch over reveals a six-screw secured caseback crafted from titanium, engraved with the iconic Aston Martin wings logo at the center. The brushed surface contrasts subtly with the polished bevels, reinforcing the high-end feel of the piece. 
While it conceals the movement from view, the solid caseback maintains the tool-watch character of the Laureato Absolute line, while discreetly acknowledging the partnership between Girard-Perregaux and the British performance car brand.
Completing the case architecture is an octagonal screw-down crown, framed by angular crown guards and accented by a green rubber ring that ties in with the Aston Martin color palette. The crown’s textured grip allows for easy operation, while also reinforcing the sporty, purposeful look of the piece. On the opposite side, short, sharp lugs contour the wrist, ensuring a snug fit despite the larger dimensions. Water-resistance can reach up to 300 meters (985 feet).
Time is displayed on a deep Aston Martin British Racing Green dial, a color historically linked with the brand’s motorsport identity. The surface features a sloping flange for the minutes track, creating visual depth that complements the case’s robust profile. At 6 o’clock, a date window is outlined by a lime green frame, matching the green highlights found elsewhere on the dial and reinforcing the F1 connection.
The applied indices are cleanly integrated and arranged for optimal symmetry, giving the dial a focused, sporty layout. Each sub-element from the bold minute markers to the centrally positioned skeletonised hour and minute hands, echoes the sharp geometry found in Aston Martin’s latest design language. 
The cut-outs in the hands are inspired by the grille design of the new DB12 sports car, a subtle but effective tribute.
Flashes of lime green lacquer are found on the tips of the hour and minute hands, along the central seconds hand, and on the depth rating text. All three central hands are coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring excellent visibility in low-light conditions without overpowering the racing-inspired aesthetics. The dial balances function and flair in a way that speaks to both horology and high-performance automotive design.

Mounted on the watch is a green FKM rubber strap with a subtle fabric-effect texture that reinforces the sporty, high-performance aesthetic of the timepiece. The strap is secured with a titanium folding clasp featuring a micro-adjustment system for optimal comfort and fit.
