Audemars Piguet expands the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet collection with a bold and refined new chronograph featuring a Tuscany Blue grained dial and baguette-cut diamond markers. This latest release blends heritage craftsmanship with modern materials, showcasing a two-tone case in white gold and blue ceramic. With a striking texture reminiscent of AP’s Royal Oak Perpetual Calendars from the 1990s, this special edition offers a fresh take on the Code 11.59’s evolving identity while preserving its complex case architecture and high-end chronograph movement.
The Audemars Piguet Code 11:59 Chronograph Tuscany Dial features a 41mm white gold case with a 12.6mm thickness and a blue ceramic mid-case, continuing the two-tone design seen in previous Code 11:59 models. The complex architecture remains, with the thin round bezel and caseback in white gold, contrasting with the deep blue ceramic middle case. The combination of satin-brushed and polished surfaces enhances the watch’s refined aesthetic, emphasizing AP’s signature attention to detail.The caseback is crafted from white gold and sapphire crystal, offering a full view of the in-house flyback chronograph movement. The sapphire caseback is secured with screws, ensuring durability while maintaining a sleek profile. The rotor, finished in 22k gold, complements the refined mechanical craftsmanship visible through the transparent back.It comes equipped with rectangular pushers and crown both made of white gold, maintaining the case’s two-tone harmony while providing a smooth tactile feel. All topped by a double-curved glareproofed sapphire crystal, ensuring excellent legibility. Water resistance can reach up to 30 meters (100 feet).
Time is told on a unique Tuscany Blue grained dial, a rare and historically significant texture in AP’s lineup. Originally associated with Royal Oak Perpetual Calendars from the 1990s, this dial finish was traditionally achieved by hand-hammering, resulting in a rich, speckled texture. Now, AP has revived this finish using a sandblasting technique, giving the Tuscany Blue dial a refined yet vibrant effect that plays beautifully with light.Audemars Piguet enhances the luxurious appeal of this edition by incorporating baguette-cut diamond hour markers. These elongated, faceted stones create a sleek, masculine contrast to the textured surface while subtly reflecting the octagonal geometry of the case’s architecture.

The three sub-dials, used for the chronograph function, are finished with a snailed texture, providing depth and contrast against the grainy dial. 

Plus the raised flange on the periphery integrates a tachymeter scale, while the date window at 4:30 is removed, creating a cleaner, more symmetrical design. The hands are inspired by the Royal Oak series, crafted in white gold and featuring luminescent coating on the tips for low-light readability. The entire dial is protected by AP’s signature double-curved sapphire crystal.

The “Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Chronograph” (Ref: 26439NB.OO.A346KB.01) is powered by self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 4409 with 40 jewels, 349 parts, and 28,800 vph. This integrated flyback chronograph movement features a column wheel and vertical clutch, allowing for seamless operation and instant reset functionality. Power reserve can last up to 70 hours, when fully wound.
Mounted on the watch is a blue textured rubber-coated strap with a calfskin leather lining, secured to the wrist by an 18k white gold pin buckle. The combination of the rubber texture and luxurious materials makes it versatile enough for both formal and casual wear.
