Throughout its history, Bulgari has introduced different versions of the Octo Finissimo Automatic, demonstrating their eagerness to explore a wide range of materials and textures. With each new model, they breathed fresh life into its design, unveiling unique and captivating aesthetics. Notably, the brand has enhanced the Octo Finissimo Automatic series by increasing its water resistance from the initial 30 meters to an impressive 100 meters. The latest installment to this series is a bold and luxurious edition, featuring a combination of yellow gold and a blue dial, marking a distinctive addition to the ultra-thin Octo Finissimo Automatic lineup.The Octo Finissimo Automatic watch features a 40 mm octagonal case made of 18k yellow gold, which combines vertically brushed surfaces with polished accents. It has a remarkable slim profile, measuring only 6.4mm in thickness.
The watch has a sapphire exhibition caseback, allowing you to see the intricate inner workings of its mechanical movement, which has been meticulously decorated by hand with côtes de Genève, anglage, and perlage finishes.
According to Bvlgari, this watch is a modern icon that blends Italian design with Swiss engineering. It houses the world's thinnest automatic movement, measuring just 2.23 mm in thickness. The case is adorned with a fixed gold bezel featuring a brushed finish, creating an appealing contrast between round and octagonal elements. For added functionality, it includes a knurled gold screw-down crown with a black ceramic insert. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters (330 feet).
The time display is showcased on a sunray dial in a beautiful shade of blue, featuring gold applied hour markers and the numerals 6 and 12 in Arabic numerals. This combination of yellow gold with a blue dial is a unique addition to the ultra-thin Octo Finissimo Automatic series, offering a fresh choice. 
By omitting a date window, the dial maintains a clean and elegant appearance, accentuated by the golden logo positioned above the center. When light hits the dial, it creates a subtle shimmer, enhancing the interplay of gold and blue tones.
A small seconds sub-dial is positioned between the 6 and 9 o'clock positions on the dial. Despite occupying a quarter of the dial's space, this gold-applied sub-dial remains understated yet highly legible.
The central gold-colored hands have a unique hollow center, contributing to the overall color scheme and providing an elegant visual harmony. This dress watch doesn't rely on luminescent material; instead, it relies on available light sources to shine brilliantly.

The “Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic” (Ref#: 103812) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber BVL 138 with 36 jewels and 21,600 vph. It comes equipped with a platinum micro-rotor. Power reserve can last up to 60 hours, when fully wound.
