Breitling Superocean Heritage 57 Highlands Capsule Collection

Recently we saw Breitling introduce the Superocean Heritage ’57 Highlands Capsule Collection, drawing inspiration from the scenic Scottish Highlands. This collection features four stainless steel models with dial colors evoking the essence of both land and sea: blue, beige, green, and mustard. Expanding beyond its Top Time B21 Classic Cars range, Breitling unveils this fresh lineup, the SuperOcean Heritage ’57 Highlands Collection.
Originating in the ‘50s, Breitling's SuperOcean diver timepiece was crafted to exude sophistication in both terrestrial and aquatic environments. Through this new collection, Breitling seeks to recreate the evocative ambiance experienced in the enchanting Scottish Highlands.The 38mm case with a thickness of 9.3mm and 42mm from lug-to-lug is made of stainless-steel with a mix of brushed surfaces and polished bevels finish. 
On the flip-side is a stainless-steel screw on caseback, which has been engraved with a large font "57" numerals, while written over it is a cursive font "Superocean" and a more standard wedge-shaped lettering for "Heritage".Mounted to the case is an 18k red gold bi-directional ratcheted bezel. Each model also comes with a ceramic insert that mimics its corresponding dial hue.It comes equipped with a non screw-locked setting crown, reinforced by two gaskets. All topped by a cambered sapphire crystal with glare-proof coating on both sides. Water-resistance can reach up to 100 meters (330 feet).Time is exhibited on either a blue, beige (brownish), green, or mustard (orange) dial with dagger-style hour indices that also include a circular marker at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock spots, while followed along by black or white printed minute markers.As aforementioned all these colors are inspired by the rocky shores and foggy peaks of the Scottish Highlands.The subtle sunburst effect further enriches the dial and adds an extra layer of allure.
The red gold central hour/minute hands, hour index markers, and dot inside the bezel triangle have all been fitted with a luminescent filling for an enhanced legibility.

The “Breitling Superocean Heritage ’57 Highlands Capsule” (References in Link) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber B10 with 25 jewels, and 28,800 vph. It is based on the ETA 2892-A2 movement. Power reserve can last up to 42 hours, when fully wound.Mounted on every model's color variant is a stainless-steel mesh bracelet, secured to the wrist by a deployment clasp. They also come with an additional silk and wool-blend fabric strap inspired by tweed, plus a springboard tool for easy strap changes.
