Breitling elevates its iconic pilot’s chronograph with the introduction of new versions of the Breitling Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar, now offered in stainless-steel with a platinum bezel and in full platinum.

Representing the most technically advanced expression of the Navitimer to date, these models combine the collection’s signature slide-rule functionality with a perpetual calendar and moonphase display, all powered by the brand’s in-house calibre B19. Blending aviation heritage with high complication watchmaking, these new references reinforce the Navitimer’s position as both an instrument for pilots and a showcase of modern mechanical sophistication. The Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar is presented in a 43mm case with a thickness of 14.94mm, available in two configurations: stainless-steel with a platinum bezel or full platinum. The familiar Navitimer architecture is retained, featuring the signature notched bezel and integrated slide rule,

while the use of platinum introduces a more luxurious and weighty presence. The case finishing balances polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing the refined yet technical character of the watch.

On the reverse, a sapphire crystal caseback reveals the in-house calibre B19, including its solid 18k red-gold oscillating rotor. The display back allows a clear view of the movement’s construction and finishing, reinforcing its status as the most complex calibre ever housed in a Navitimer.

At 3 o’clock sits the crown, flanked by discreet corrector pushers at 8 and 10 o’clock for adjusting the perpetual calendar functions. A cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial, ensuring optimal legibility across the complex display. Water-resistance can reach up to 30 meters (100 feet).

Two distinct dial executions define the collection. The full platinum version features a deep blue lacquered dial inspired by the stratospheric sky at high altitude, paired with a black outer slide rule and contrasting white inner scale.

While the stainless-steel model with platinum bezel adopts an anthracite dial, offering a more understated and contemporary aesthetic which maintains strong contrast for readability.

The dial layout follows a classic 3-6-9 configuration, integrating the perpetual calendar displays within the chronograph registers.

The date is positioned at 3 o’clock, the month and leap year at 6 o’clock, and the day of the week at 9 o’clock, while a moonphase aperture is placed at 12 o’clock above the Breitling logo.

The applied hour markers and hands are treated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions. The layered dial construction, combined with the slide rule and multiple indications, creates depth while preserving the functional clarity expected from a Navitimer.
