Produced in a highly exclusive run of just 50 pieces, one representing each U.S. state, and available exclusively in the American market, this special edition combines Breitling’s aviation heritage with one of its most accomplished in-house chronograph movements. Featuring a lightweight black ceramic case, patriotic blue, white, and red accents, and a commemorative caseback, the watch celebrates America’s Semiquincentennial while remaining true to the rugged DNA that has defined the Avenger collection for over two decades.

The Breitling Avenger B01 Chronograph 42 Night Mission America250 Limited Edition is housed in a black ceramic case measuring 42mm in diameter and 15.15mm in thickness. Engineered for durability, the scratch-resistant ceramic construction is complemented by a matching unidirectional ratcheted ceramic bezel, giving the watch a bold tactical appearance while reducing overall weight compared to traditional steel models. Titanium components, including the crown, pushers, and buckle, further enhance the watch’s impressive strength-to-weight ratio.

Turning the watch over reveals a sapphire crystal exhibition caseback showcasing the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01. Surrounding the display is a titanium outer ring engraved with the official America250 logo, fifty engraved stars representing each U.S. state, and the inscription “ONE OF 50,” emphasizing the exceptional rarity of this commemorative edition.

The screw-locked Grade 2 titanium crown is accompanied by matching titanium chronograph pushers for secure and reliable operation. Protecting the dial is a cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides, ensuring outstanding clarity in virtually any lighting condition. Water-resistance can reach up to 300 meters (990 feet).

The dial is finished in a rich blue tone inspired by the colors of the American flag and contrasted by a pair of white chronograph counters, creating a striking panda-style appearance. Red accents complete the patriotic color palette while reinforcing the watch’s strong motorsport and aviation character.

The chronograph display follows a classic tri-compax layout with a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, and a running seconds display at 9 o’clock. A date aperture is positioned on the dial, while the central chronograph seconds hand allows precise measurement of elapsed time.

Applied hour markers and broad central hands are generously filled with Super-LumiNova, providing excellent visibility in low-light conditions. Combined with the high-contrast dial layout, the luminous display ensures exceptional legibility whether on land or in the cockpit.

The “Breitling Avenger B01 Chronograph 42 Night Mission America250” (Ref#: SB01464A1C1X1) is powered by the self-winding mechanical movement, Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz). Equipped with a column wheel and vertical clutch chronograph architecture, the COSC-certified chronometer movement displays the hours, minutes, small seconds, date, and chronograph functions including central chronograph seconds, 30-minute counter, and 12-hour counter. Power reserve can last up to 70 hours, when fully wound.

Mounted on this watch is a blue calfskin leather strap secured by a titanium folding clasp. Contrasting red stitching complements the patriotic color theme while adding a subtle sporting touch. The lightweight strap and titanium hardware perfectly balance the robust ceramic case, ensuring excellent comfort during extended wear.
