Breguet Classique Tourbillon 7357

Breguet Classique Tourbillon 7357

Few inventions have had a greater impact on haute horlogerie than the tourbillon. Patented by Abraham-Louis Breguet on June 26, 1801, the ingenious rotating regulator was conceived to improve chronometric precision by counteracting the effects of gravity on a watch’s escapement and balance. To celebrate the 225th anniversary of this landmark achievement, Breguet unveils the new Classique Tourbillon 7357. Drawing direct inspiration from the historic Ref. 3350, the first modern Breguet wristwatch to feature a tourbillon, the new model combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary technical refinements while embracing the design language introduced during the Maison’s 250th anniversary celebrations in 2025.

The Breguet Classique Tourbillon 7357 is housed in a refined 35mm case measuring 9.2mm in thickness. Available in either 18k Breguet gold or platinum, the compact proportions remain faithful to classical watchmaking while offering exceptional elegance on the wrist. The redesigned lugs provide improved ergonomics, allowing the watch to sit naturally and comfortably, while the signature fluted caseband continues one of the Maison’s most recognizable design traditions.

Turning the watch over reveals a sapphire crystal caseback showcasing the new manually wound Calibre 187B. Beautifully finished according to Breguet’s highest standards, the movement features a newly created hand-guilloché motif inspired by the Dent de Vaulion, one of the iconic peaks overlooking Switzerland’s Vallée de Joux. The display also allows a clear view of the movement’s classical architecture and refined finishing.

The slender polished case enhances the refined proportions while maintaining the understated elegance expected from the Classique collection. Water-resistance can reach up to 30 meters (100 feet).Breguet Classique Tourbillon 7357 crown
The dial is crafted entirely from 18k gold and decorated by hand using two of Breguet’s most emblematic guilloché patterns. A Clous de Paris motif occupies the central section, while the surrounding chapter ring is finished with a Grain d’Orge pattern, showcasing the Manufacture’s exceptional decorative expertise. Depending on the reference, the dial is either silvered gold or anthracite-treated gold, each offering its own distinctive personality.Breguet Classique Tourbillon 7357 dial goldBreguet Arabic numerals, designed by Abraham-Louis Breguet himself during the late eighteenth century, indicate the hours and are paired with the Maison’s iconic open-tipped hands finished in Bleu de France. Together, these signature elements preserve the unmistakable visual identity that has defined Breguet for generations.Breguet Classique Tourbillon 7357 dial optionsPositioned prominently at 6 o’clock, the one-minute tourbillon is recessed beneath the dial surface, exposing more of the movement while adding remarkable visual depth. Breguet Classique Tourbillon 7357 close-upIts elegant double-arched bridge reinterprets the architecture of the historic Calibre 558, while four distinctive blue inlays frame the commemorative inscriptions “Brevet du 7 Messidor An 9” and “Tourbillon 225th Anniversary,” emphasizing the importance of this milestone edition.
