Bell & Ross continues to expand its popular Lum collection with the introduction of the new BR-03 GMT Green Lum. Combining the brand’s aviation-inspired square case with a striking green gradient dial and generous applications of Super-LumiNova C3, this latest limited edition brings a fresh visual identity to the BR-03 GMT. Inspired by the glow of the Northern Lights, the watch pairs practical dual-time functionality with one of Bell & Ross’ most distinctive luminous executions to date.
The Bell & Ross BR-03 GMT Green Lum is housed in a satin-finished and polished stainless steel case measuring 42mm by 42mm with a thickness of 11.3mm. Its signature circle-within-a-square architecture remains one of the most recognizable designs in modern watchmaking, taking direct inspiration from aircraft cockpit instruments while balancing brushed surfaces with polished bevels for a more refined appearance.

Turning the watch over reveals a solid stainless steel caseback that conceals the automatic GMT movement inside. The robust construction reinforces the watch’s tool-watch credentials while preserving the clean, instrument-inspired aesthetic that defines the BR-03 collection.

The oversized crown operates alongside a bidirectional 24-hour rotating bezel fitted with a polished black ceramic insert. Both the bezel markings and dial elements are generously coated with green-emitting Super-LumiNova C3, creating an impressive glow once the lights go down. A flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial. Water resistance can reach up to 100 meters (330 feet).

The highlight of this limited edition is its vertically graduated dial, transitioning from vivid green to deep black. Inspired by the Northern Lights, the color treatment gives the watch a dramatic appearance while preserving the legibility expected from an aviation instrument.

Applied numerals, hour markers, and the blackened hour and minute hands are coated with Super-LumiNova C3, producing a brilliant green glow in darkness. An openworked triangular GMT hand indicates a second time zone over the rotating 24-hour bezel, while a circular date window is positioned discreetly at 4:30.

Completing the instrument-inspired design is a central seconds hand featuring Bell & Ross’ signature airplane-shaped counterweight.

The extensive use of luminous material not only enhances nighttime visibility but also reinforces the military-inspired character of the watch.
