Introducing the Bell & Ross BR-03 Diver Lum Outline: A New Chapter in the Luminescent Saga With this release Bell & Ross expands its signature “circle in a square” diver line with the new BR-03 Diver Lum Outline, a stealthy black ceramic tool watch designed for underwater legibility and visual impact. With a case inspired by cockpit instruments and a dial that turns luminescence into an artistic language, this 500-piece limited edition merges professional dive specs with a distinctive luminous identity.
The BR 03 Diver Lum Outline features a 42mm by 42mm square case crafted from microblasted black ceramic with a matte finish that enhances its tactical presence. Its bold form factor adheres to Bell & Ross’s signature “circle in a square” design, while the unidirectional rotating bezel, also in ceramic, displays a 60-minute diving scale with green-emission Super-LumiNova X2 markings for high visibility underwater. The case measures 11.2mm in height and is secured by four exposed screws at each corner.
Turning the watch over reveals a solid caseback made of black PVD-coated stainless steel, screwed down to ensure water integrity. The back is engraved with essential specifications and contributes to the watch’s robust, professional-grade performance.
Positioned at 3 o’clock is a screw-down crown made of black PVD-coated steel, flanked by protective crown guards integrated into the ceramic case structure. All topped by a cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating ensures distortion-free legibility across various lighting conditions. Water-resistance can reach up to 300 meters (984 feet).
The matte black lacquer dial embraces a tool-watch aesthetic while maintaining Bell & Ross’s unmistakable identity. It features applied circular and bathtub-shaped hour markers along with skeletonised arrow-style hands. A round aperture at 4:30 displays the date, with green numerals against a black background that integrates seamlessly into the dial.The design continues the collection’s 2024 updates, including revised typography, larger indices, and redesigned hands for improved legibility and a more contemporary visual balance. A green minutes track runs along the outer edge of the dial, reinforcing the black-and-green theme.Luminous performance is a central element of this model. The hands and hour markers are outlined or filled with Super-LumiNova X2, which glows green in the dark. Even the unidirectional bezel’s 60-minute scale features lume-filled markings, ensuring outstanding underwater and nighttime visibility.
