Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Rubber Bezel
Audemars Piguet has expanded its Royal Oak Offshore lineup with two new models, the Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding 37 mm and 43 mm. These new entries offer a streamlined design featuring the brand’s signature “rubberclad” bezels. Unlike some of the more extravagant recent releases, these watches focus on clean lines and muted colors, making them ideal for those who appreciate a minimalist approach. With the 37 mm model in 18k pink gold paired with light grey accents and the 43 mm model in stainless steel with blue highlights, both models pay homage to the original Offshore Rubberclad watches from two decades ago.
The Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding 37 mm model features a case crafted from 18k pink gold, measuring 37 mm in diameter and 12.1 mm in thickness. Its signature rubberclad bezel, coated in grey rubber, complements the Grande Tapisserie guilloche dial finished in a metallic ivory hue. 
On the other hand, the 43 mm version boasts a stainless steel case with a diameter of 43 mm and a thickness of 14.4 mm, paired with a blue rubber-coated bezel that echoes the smoked blue dial and strap. Both models retain the characteristic “chunky” look of the Royal Oak Offshore line, offering a robust and sporty aesthetic.
The caseback of both models offers a view of the meticulously finished movements. In the 37 mm version, the exhibition caseback reveals the automatic cal. 5900, 
while the 43 mm model showcases the cal. 4302 movement. Both movements are adorned with decorative finishes and feature rotors made of black-coated 22k pink gold, underscoring the watch’s luxurious appeal.
It comes equipped with a secure screw-down crown and integrated crown guards, ensuring durability. The 43 mm model offers a superior water resistance of 100 meters (330 feet), while the 37 mm model is water-resistant up to 50 meters (165 feet).
The dials of the new Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding models continue the brand’s tradition of intricate detailing. The 37 mm model features a Grande Tapisserie pattern in a metallic ivory hue, which is beautifully complemented by the solid pink gold indices and hands, all filled with luminescent material for enhanced legibility. 
The 43 mm model showcases a smoked blue Méga Tapisserie dial, where the color seamlessly flows into the matching blue bezel and strap. Both dials highlight the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship, with precise finishing that enhances the overall aesthetic. 
The use of contrasting textures and colors, along with the larger hour markers, ensures that the dial remains legible under various lighting conditions. The new models maintain a clean, functional layout that emphasizes timekeeping without additional complications, underscoring their role as robust sports watches.
Each dial is equipped with luminous pink gold hour markers and hands, ensuring optimal readability in low-light environments. The absence of date windows on these models preserves the symmetrical design and enhances the clean, uncluttered appearance that characterizes this new lineup.
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Rubber Bezel
The Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding 43 mm (Ref#: 15605SK.OO.A350CA.01) is driven by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 4302, featuring 32 jewels and composed of 257 parts. This movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), with a total diameter of 32 mm and a thickness of 4.9 mm. Power reserve can last up to 70 hours, when fully wound.
Mounted on the watches are rubber straps designed to complement the overall aesthetic of each model. The 37 mm version features a light grey rubber strap with a unique mosaic pattern, offering a fresh take on traditional rubber straps. It is secured with an 18k pink gold pin buckle, and an additional black rubber strap is included for versatility.
The 43 mm model comes with a classic blue rubber strap that pairs seamlessly with its blue dial and bezel. The strap is fastened with a stainless steel pin buckle and is accompanied by an extra black rubber strap, allowing for easy customization. Both models feature Audemars Piguet’s quick-release mechanism, enabling effortless strap changes to suit any occasion.
