Since its arrival in 1993, the Royal Oak Offshore has embodied Audemars Piguet’s most assertive vision of the sports watch as larger, more technical and unapologetically bold. While the 2021 redesign refined proportions and introduced the in-house calibre 4401, the Offshore has continued to evolve through materials and colour. For 2026, AP presents two new Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 43mm models in ceramic and titanium, reinforcing the collection’s uncompromising character while sharpening its contemporary appeal.
Measuring 43mm in diameter and 14.4mm in thickness, both models retain the current-generation Offshore architecture introduced in 2021. The sculpted case, integrated crown guards and pronounced pushers preserve the muscular identity of the line. One reference is executed in full “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” ceramic which is a deep, historically inspired blue,
while the second combines lightweight titanium with black ceramic components. As expected from Audemars Piguet, both materials are finished with alternating satin-brushed surfaces and sharply polished bevels, preserving the Offshore’s crisp geometry despite the technical complexity of ceramic finishing.
The sapphire caseback reveals the in-house calibre 4401, framed by a titanium caseback ring on both versions. Through the glareproofed sapphire crystal, the integrated flyback chronograph movement can be admired, including its column wheel architecture and refined decorative finishes. The construction maintains the Offshore’s robust build while offering a clear view of the mechanical sophistication within.
The screw-locked crown and chronograph pushers are integrated into the protective guards, ensuring durability and ergonomic operation. On the titanium version, the crown and pushers are rendered in black ceramic for a sharp contrast against the brushed metal mid-case, while the full ceramic model maintains a monochromatic execution. A glareproofed sapphire crystal protects the dial, preserving clarity and structural integrity. Water-resistance can reach up to 100 meters (330 feet).
Both references feature the signature Méga Tapisserie dial, preserving the Offshore’s bold, architectural aesthetic. The “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” ceramic version pairs a beige Méga Tapisserie base with deep blue chronograph counters, creating a warm yet sophisticated contrast.
The titanium model opts for a smoked green PVD Méga Tapisserie dial, paired with black subdials and beige external tracks, delivering a more tactical and aggressive character.
The chronograph layout remains classical Offshore, with subdials positioned at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock and a date window at 4:30. On the blue ceramic model, rhodium-coated pink gold hour markers contrast against the beige base, while white gold hands maintain clarity.
The titanium and black ceramic version uses blackened 18k white gold hour markers and hands to reinforce its darker aesthetic, maintaining visual coherence across the dial and case.
Depth is enhanced by the layered dial construction, recessed counters and contrasting inner bezels. The luminescent coating applied to the hands and markers ensures optimal legibility in low light, with white emission on the blue ceramic model and beige-toned lume on the titanium reference, reinforcing each watch’s distinct personality.
