Audemars Piguet continues to refine its Royal Oak Offshore collection with a bold and sophisticated new release, the Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 42mm. Featuring an all-black ceramic case and matching ceramic bracelet, this timepiece embraces a sleek, modern aesthetic while staying true to the Offshore’s rugged and sporty DNA. The black “Méga Tapisserie” dial, combined with black-coated white gold accents, ensures a seamless monochromatic look that enhances its stealthy appeal. This latest release marks the first time Audemars Piguet has paired a black ceramic bracelet with the modern 42mm Offshore, elevating the collection with a contemporary, high-end execution.
The bold 42mm case with a thickness of 15.3mm is crafted entirely from black ceramic. The construction showcases a mix of brushed and polished finishes, staying true to the Royal Oak Offshore’s signature aesthetic. The iconic octagonal bezel is secured with eight polished screws, further emphasizing the distinctive design language of the collection.
On the reverse side, the caseback features a blackened titanium ring framing a sapphire crystal exhibition window, offering an unobstructed view of the movement within. The movement is decorated with fine finishing, including Geneva stripes, polished bevels, and a 22k pink gold openworked rotor engraved with the Audemars Piguet logo.
The timepiece is fitted with a screw-down crown and ceramic pushers, ensuring smooth chronograph operation while maintaining the Offshore’s rugged appeal. It comes equipped with a column-wheel operated chronograph with flyback and date. Power reserve can last up to 70 hours, when fully wound.
Mounted on the watch is a fully integrated black ceramic bracelet, seamlessly extending the all-black aesthetic of the case.
