Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 Pink Gold Collection Time-and-Date Models
In its 2024 lineup, Audemars Piguet unveiled seven new additions to its Code 11.59 series, introducing models with time-and-date functions as well as chronographs, all fashioned from 18k pink gold. To enhance the previously more reserved and critically received dial designs, a distinct embossed "signature" pattern was developed and first introduced in 2023 with the stainless steel versions. This was achieved through a collaborative effort between the Audemars Piguet design team and the renowned Swiss guilloché expert, Yann von Kaenel. The introduction of this design marked a significant aesthetic enhancement, which now extends to the new pink gold models in the Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 collection. Let’s start by taking a look at the four time-and-date options.The new time-and-date models within the Code 11.59 collection are available in either a 38mm or 41mm case made of 18k pink gold. The 38mm options come with a thickness of 9.6mm, while the 41mm has a thickness of 10.7mm. Both with a mixture of vertically brushed surfaces and polished bevels finish.
On the flipside is a sapphire exhibition caseback that allows a view into the inner workings of the mechanical movement. It features an 18k pink gold oscillating weight with a carved out AP logo in its midst.
In common both options come equipped with a setting-crown embossed with the AP logo, which features modifications to the crown's shape, further enhancing the collection's contemporary appeal and maintaining consistency with the aesthetic introduced in 2023. All topped by a double curved sapphire crystal. Water-resistance can reach up to 30 meters (98 feet).
Time is exhibited on either a light blue, “bleu nuit, Nuage 50” (this celebrated AP color was first introduced with the inaugural Royal Oak in 1972) or dark green dial, all with 18k pink gold applied indices, followed by a white printed minute track ring with Arabic numerals appearing alongside the flange for every 5-minute increment.
These dials are further embellished by either PVD-coated or galvanic-treated, adorned with the newly introduced stamped pattern. Plus the elongated, flattened, faceted, and polished hour indices also add a subtle touch of elegance. Audemars Piguet has also implemented subtle refinements in the design, including updates to the typography of the seconds scale.
The 18k pink gold central hour/minute hands and index markers have all been fitted with a luminescent filling for an enhanced legibility. There is also a date window at 3 o’clock with a gold frame and white numerals.

The “Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 Pink Gold Collection Time-and-Date” (References below) the 38mm models are powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 5900 with 29 jewels, 188 parts, and 28,800 vph. Power reserve can last up to 60 hours, when fully wound. The 41mm options are powered by the self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 4302 with 32 jewels, 257 parts, and 28,800 vph. This is a Vaucher-based movement. Power reserve can last up to 70 hours, when fully wound.
Both 38mm models are fitted with large scale square alligator straps that match the color of the dials. These smaller options also include an additional rubber strap. The 41mm models differ by coming with a rubber strap (that also matches each dials hue) in a textile pattern and leather lining.
