Zenith unveils the Defy Extreme Jungle, the final piece in its trilogy of watches inspired by extreme environments. Following the Desert and Glacier editions, this bold new model embraces the untamed spirit of the jungle, featuring Tiger’s Eye stone elements and a lush green color palette. Designed to capture the vibrancy of nature and the ferocity of the tiger, this watch pushes the boundaries of Zenith’s most robust and technical collection, the Defy Extreme.

The 45mm titanium case has a height of 15.4mm, highlighting its robust and angular architecture. The brushed surfaces are complemented by wide polished bevels along the case flanks and the distinctive 12-sided bezel. Unique to this edition, the pusher protectors and bezel are crafted from Tiger’s Eye stone, known for its golden-brown striations and chatoyance effect. This natural material adds a dramatic touch, ensuring each watch is a unique work of art. The case exudes a harmonious balance of ruggedness and elegance, underscoring its extreme performance credentials.Completing the design, the watch features a sapphire crystal front and back, offering a clear view of the intricate dial and movement while ensuring water resistance up to 200 meters (660 feet).The openworked dial captures the essence of the jungle with its green-tinted sapphire elements and khaki green mainplate. Three sub-dials are framed with tiger-striped accents in orange and black, mirroring the fierce aesthetic of a tiger. These sub-dials display a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, a 60-second totalizer at 6 o’clock, and small seconds at 9 o’clock, all surrounded by a peripheral 1/100th-of-a-second chronograph scale.Adding to the jungle theme, the dial incorporates a linear power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock. Rhodium-plated hour markers and skeletonized hands filled with beige Super-LumiNova ensure excellent legibility in all lighting conditions. A central chronograph hand, with a star-shaped counterweight, completes the dynamic layout.The interplay of colors, textures, and materials creates a visually striking composition, reinforcing the jungle-inspired design.

Zenith Defy Extreme Jungle

The “Zenith Defy Extreme Jungle” (Ref#: 95.9202.9004/26.I001) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber El Primero 9004 with 53 jewels and 36,000 vph. It comes equipped with a dual regulating organ, one for timekeeping and one for the chronograph that runs at 360,000 vph. Power reserve can last up to 50 hours, when fully wound.\This model offers exceptional versatility with three strap options. The titanium bracelet matches the case’s robust yet polished aesthetic, while the green embossed rubber strap adds a sporty touch. Additionally, a black Velcro strap provides a lightweight, casual alternative.
