What began as a series of local enthusiast groups has developed into an international community, with 62 Oris Social Club chapters now established around the world. Oris celebrates that growth with the new Social Club Edition II, moving away from a watch associated with any single chapter and instead creating one shared edition for the entire network. Based on the 43.5mm Aquis Date Relief, the watch combines a distinctive frosted silver dial, olive green NATO strap and a playful monthly appearance from the Oris Bear, with production limited to 500 unnumbered pieces.
The Oris Social Club Edition II is housed in the multi-piece stainless-steel case of the Aquis Date Relief, measuring 43.5mm in diameter, 13.1mm thick and 51mm from lug to lug. Its diving credentials are reinforced by a unidirectional rotating bezel fitted with a stainless-steel insert, where the diving minutes scale appears in relief for the characteristic industrial appearance of this Aquis variation.
The stainless-steel caseback receives special engraving for the Social Club edition, including an outline of the Oris factory in Hölstein and the inscription “OSC | INT.” The latter emphasizes the international character of the second Social Club watch, which has been created to represent the brand’s 62 chapters collectively rather than an individual location.
The screw-in security crown helps maintain the watch’s dive-ready construction, while a domed sapphire crystal with an internal anti-reflective coating protects the dial. Its 23mm lug width accommodates the NATO strap that gives this particular Aquis a notably different appearance from its more conventional bracelet and rubber-strap counterparts. Water-resistance can reach up to 300 meters (984 feet).
A frosted white-silver dial provides the Social Club Edition II with its defining visual feature. Oris describes the textured surface as a reference to the fingerprint of a community, connecting the individuality of its members with the larger international network they collectively form. Applied hour markers surround the display, while the hours, minutes and seconds are indicated centrally.
The date appears through an aperture at 6 o’clock, but Oris has incorporated a small surprise into the calendar display. On the first day of every month, the familiar Oris Bear appears inside the date window, looking out at the wearer before the conventional date display continues through the remainder of the month.
Super-LumiNova is applied to both the hands and hour markers, providing visibility in low-light conditions and reinforcing the functional dive-watch character beneath the more playful Social Club details. Against the frosted silver surface, the applied markers, luminous elements and date aperture create a clean and highly legible interpretation of the familiar Aquis layout.
Oris Social Club Edition II
The “Oris Social Club Edition II” (Ref#: 01 733 7789 4121-Set) is powered by the self-winding mechanical movement, Oris Calibre 733, based on the Sellita SW200-1, with 26 jewels and a frequency of 28,800 vph. It comes equipped with central hours, minutes and seconds, instantaneous date, a date corrector and stop-seconds functionality for more precise time setting. Power reserve can last up to 41 hours, when fully wound.
Mounted on this watch is an olive green NATO strap measuring 23mm between the lugs, giving the substantial Aquis Date Relief a more casual character than its typical bracelet or rubber-strap configurations.
It also marks the first time in more than a decade that Oris has presented an Aquis Date on a NATO strap, further distinguishing the Social Club Edition II from the regular collection.
The Oris Social Club Edition II (Ref. 01 733 7789 4121-Set) is limited to 500 unnumbered pieces and becomes available from September 2026.
