Showcasing a flinqué sunray pattern beneath layers of kiln-fired enamel, this new reference elevates the Laureato’s status within the segment while preserving its hallmark octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet.
Crafted from stainless steel, the case of the Girard-Perregaux Laureato measures 42mm in diameter and 10.68mm in height. Its hallmark barrel-shaped design combines satin-brushed surfaces with polished accents, giving it both sportiness and sophistication. The sharply faceted case features a horizontally brushed midsection with polished chamfers, while the polished circular plinth supports the distinctive octagonal bezel, which is vertically brushed on top and polished along the sides.
Flipping over the watch reveals a sapphire exhibition caseback that showcases the in-house automatic calibre GP01800. The movement is beautifully decorated, with circular Côtes de Genève adorning the pink gold rotor, straight Côtes de Genève across the bridges, perlage on the mainplate, polished screw heads, and meticulously chamfered edges. These refined finishes highlight Girard-Perregaux’s commitment to haute horlogerie, offering collectors a movement that is as visually captivating as it is technically reliable.
A gently fluted setting crown nestles at 3 o’clock, allowing for easy time and date adjustments. Topping the case is a flat, anti-reflective sapphire crystal that offers crisp legibility while preserving the overall thin profile of the watch. Water-resistance can reach up to 100 meters (330 feet).
The dial of this new Laureato 42mm stands out with a refined grey Grand Feu enamel finish, showcasing Girard-Perregaux’s commitment to traditional métiers d’art. Produced by Donzé Cadrans, the flinqué sunray pattern radiates outward from the center, creating a mesmerising texture that shifts with the light. Each dial is the result of multiple enamel layers, typically between five and ten, applied over the engraved brass base and fired at 800°C to achieve a lustrous, glass-like surface that is highly resistant to fading.
A minimalist layout enhances the visual purity of the composition. There is no minutes track, allowing the enamel work to remain unobstructed. A colour-matched date disc is neatly positioned at 3 o’clock, seamlessly integrated with the rest of the dial. The “GP” monogram is applied just beneath 12 o’clock, reinforcing the watch’s subtle luxury identity.
Rhodium-plated baton-style hands and hour markers add a clean, contemporary edge. There is no lume present, further emphasizing this model’s elegant nature over utility-focused functionality. The result is a striking, monochromatic dial that balances artisanal depth with modern restraint.

The slender profile definitely benefits from the calibers 30mm diameter and just 3.97mm in thickness. Power reserve can last up to 54 hours, when fully wound. 
Mounted on this watch is an integrated stainless-steel bracelet with vertically brushed outer links and polished central links, secured by a triple-folding clasp.
