Marking the 50th anniversary of its emblematic double-logo bezel watch, Bulgari introduces a quartet of special-edition Bulgari Bulgari timepieces fitted with genuine marble dials: two in rose gold with blue stones and two in yellow gold with green “Verde Alpi” marble, the latter issued as 150-piece limited editions. Blending Roman heritage with contemporary elegance, the collection echoes the original 1975 model gifted to VIP clients while elevating it through precious materials and restrained dials that highlight the unique beauty of natural stone. Offered in both 26mm quartz and 38mm automatic formats, these anniversary pieces reflect Bulgari’s ongoing mastery of aesthetic refinement and architectural simplicity.
The new Bulgari Bulgari marble-dial models are offered in two case sizes: 26mm for the quartz versions and 38mm for the automatics. Both sizes are rendered in solid 18k gold, with options in either rose or yellow gold. The cases are fully polished, with elegantly tapered lugs and bezel engravings that distinguish each edition. The standard-production rose gold versions bear the iconic “BVLGARI BVLGARI” engraving around the bezel, while the limited-edition yellow gold references proudly feature “BVLGARI ROMA,” a nod to the very first VIP client edition from 1975. Both case sizes offer slim, refined profiles that enhance the jewelry-watch appeal.
On the reverse, the quartz models feature solid casebacks, while the automatics include sapphire crystal display backs that reveal the in-house automatic caliber. The limited-edition yellow gold variants also include special anniversary engravings to commemorate 50 years of Bulgari Bulgari design,
although the watches are not individually numbered. The exhibition caseback on the automatics showcases clean finishing and a signed rotor, maintaining a cohesive design language with the front.
Each case is equipped with a fluted gold crown inset with a cabochon and is topped by a domed sapphire crystal that offers a clear view of the marble dial. Water-resistance can reach up to 50 meters (164 feet) for the automatic versions and 30 meters (98 feet) for the quartz models.
The defining feature of this anniversary quartet is undoubtedly the use of genuine marble dials, a fitting tribute to Bulgari’s Roman heritage and its expertise in stone craftsmanship. Each dial is carved from a unique slice of natural marble, giving every watch a slightly different pattern of veins and coloration.
The rose gold models showcase shades of blue, with the 26mm reference using lighter-toned Azzurro Infinito marble and the 38mm version adopting the richer, deeper Blu Incanto. In contrast, the yellow gold limited editions opt for Verde Alpi, a dark green marble sourced from the Alpine region, long associated with Bulgari’s most exclusive creations.
The smaller 26mm quartz models offer a more decorative approach, with diamond-set hour markers adding sparkle to the polished marble surfaces. These two-hand time displays maintain visual minimalism, using thin gold hands that harmonize with the case metal.
On the 38mm automatic versions, the dial remains symmetrical and clean thanks to the removal of the date window, focusing all attention on the natural stone’s texture and movement. The faceted baton hour markers are gold-plated and applied, ensuring optimal contrast and legibility against the variegated marble.
With no added typography or subdials, the composition feels pure and architectural, fitting for a model that has become a symbol of sculptural elegance in modern watchmaking. Bulgari wisely allows the stone to speak for itself, framing it within its iconic double-logo bezel. It’s a rare instance where such a minimalist dial becomes the centerpiece through the richness of material alone.

Bulgari Bvlgari with Marble Dials
The “Bulgari Bulgari 38mm Marble Dial” (Ref#: 104112 in yellow gold and 104113 in rose gold) is powered by the in-house automatic mechanical movement, calibre BVL 191 “Solotempo,” with 26 jewels, 191 components, and a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). It delivers straightforward three-hand timekeeping through a no-date display and is regulated by a Swiss lever escapement with stop-seconds functionality for precise time-setting. Power reserve can last up to 42 hours, when fully wound.
The 26mm Bulgari Bulgari models (Ref#: 104111 and 104191) are powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement, offering reliable timekeeping in a compact format. Designed for simplicity and elegance, these two-hand calibers eliminate the need for winding or regular adjustment beyond occasional battery replacement. While they lack the mechanical intricacy of their automatic counterparts, their slim profile and low maintenance make them well-suited for everyday luxury wear.
The 18k yellow gold Bulgari Bulgari models with green “Verde Alpi” marble dials, references 104111 (26mm) and 104112 (38mm) are both limited editions of 150 pieces each, released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Bulgari Bulgari watch.
