One of the most romantic days of the year always happens in February and to celebrate this upcoming Valentines day, Breguet will release the limited edition “Phase de Lune 9085”. For those that weren’t able to impress during these giving seasons, maybe this timepiece can get you back on track. The 30 mm case is made of 18k white gold with a thickness of 9.85 mm. Design wise it follows similar aesthetics from their extensive catalog with long protruding lugs and signature fluted casebandsOn the flipside is a sapphire exhibition caseback that allows a view into the inner workings of the mechanical movement. It features a solid gold rotor decorated with a hand-embroidered guilloché pattern.Mounted to the case is a diamond-set bezel with diamonds spreading out into the lugs for a total of 66 brilliant-cut diamonds. It comes equipped with a knurled setting-crown embossed with Breguet “B” logo. Water-resistance can reach up to 30 meters (98 feet).Time is exhibited on a mother-of-pearl dial with black Arabic numerals for the odd numbers and red round rubies for the even numbers, while circling around the flange is a dotted minute track. At the center of the dial is a hand-crafted guilloché pattern made by Breguet artisans with a traditional rose engine lathe. Another hallmark brand trait is the oval shaped Breguet numeral emblem on the upper-half.The central open-tipped Breguet hours/minutes hands are made in their custom blued steel. There is a moon phase indicator at 6 o'clock with a silvery moon and stars spread out among a blued sky.

The “Breguet Classique Phase de Lune 9085 Valentine’s Day Edition” (Ref#: 9085BB/5R/964 DD00) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 537 with 26 jewels and 25,200 vph. Power reserve can last up to 45 hours, when fully wound.This watch comes with two straps compatible with Breguet’s quick strap change system: a red or pearly white alligator strap, both secured by an 18k white gold buckle.This is a limited edition with only 28 manufactured pieces.
