The new Bell & Ross BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic is a stealthy and minimalist take on the brand’s popular integrated-bracelet sports watch. Presented in a black ceramic case with a skeletonized dial, this limited edition of 500 pieces is nearly identical to the 2024 BR-05 Skeleton Black Ceramic, except for one subtle but defining change: all hands, indexes, and lume have been rendered entirely in black for a true monochrome “Phantom” aesthetic. Building on a visual language that Bell & Ross has been refining since 2007, the Phantom treatment adds a moody and tactical vibe to an otherwise refined skeletonized design.

Crafted from black ceramic, the case of the Bell & Ross BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic measures 41mm in diameter and 11.2mm in height, combining brushed and polished surfaces to highlight its angular geometry. The integrated case and bracelet design is softened by rounded edges, while the broad bezel with exposed screws adds a signature Bell & Ross industrial character.A flat sapphire crystal covers the front, while the back reveals a transparent sapphire display caseback that offers a view of the automatic movement. The ceramic case is paired with stainless steel elements treated in black PVD, ensuring both durability and aesthetic cohesion with the all-black design.The screw-down crown is nestled between protective guards at 3 o’clock and bears the Bell & Ross “&” logo. Its modern proportions and ceramic construction ensure both presence and comfort on the wrist. All topped by a flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. Water-resistance can reach up to 100 meters (330 feet).
The BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic features a transparent smoked sapphire dial, revealing the open-worked architecture of the movement beneath. Rendered in a deep monochromatic palette, the dial embodies the brand’s hallmark “Phantom” aesthetic, fully blacked out for stealthy visual impact. The central section remains semi-transparent, while the chapter ring hosts cutout hour markers applied on top of the crystal.The faceted indexes and skeletonized hour and minute hands are all finished in black and coated with black Super-LumiNova, which glows green in the dark to retain functionality without compromising the tone-on-tone design. The central seconds hand shares the same dark finish, ensuring cohesion across the display.Despite its dark palette, legibility is preserved thanks to the contrast between the hands and the skeletonized movement components, with careful attention to spacing and proportions. The dial’s layout follows the familiar time-only configuration found on other BR-05 skeletonized models, offering a modern and technical interpretation of minimalism.

The “Bell & Ross BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic” (References below) is powered by the self-winding mechanical movement, caliber BR-CAL.322.1 with 25 jewels and 28,800 Vph. This is a skeletonized version of the Sellita SW300 produced exclusively for Bell & Ross. Power reserve can last up to 54 hours, when fully wound.
The BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic is offered with either a matte black rubber strap or a fully integrated black ceramic bracelet, both secured by a folding clasp in stainless steel with black PVD coating. The rubber option enhances sportiness and comfort, while the ceramic bracelet delivers a seamless and upscale aesthetic.
